Pre primary - Rakshabandhan activity

"Brothers and Sisters are as close as hands and feet ".
The saying holds very true , as we celebrated the upcoming of a very special festival RAKSHA BANDHAN .
The festival highlights the bond that a brother and sister hold for each other,  the bond of love , care , humbleness and gratitude. 
There is one more such bond that we individuals share with our loving Mother  Earth the bond of love , care , help and dedication to keep it bouncing with life by respecting its natural flora and fauna with the care worthy spirit towards its creatures .
The PRE PRIMARY kids right from PRE NURSERY,  NURSERY AND KG GRADE pledged to keep our mother Earth smiling by planting trees and using Eco Friendly material for a sustainable living .The children of these grades made Eco Friendly Rakhis by using sprouts,  coriander seeds and cloth strands to depict their love for their siblings and mother Earth.
Hoping for a better and nourishing tomorrow with a thoughtful approach towards a better living.

Grade 1 to 3 , Workshop by Space India 

We are excited to share that the highly anticipated workshop on Astronomy, Space Science, and STEM, conducted in partnership with the esteemed experts from SPACE India, was successfully held today. Our students participated in a captivating rocket launcher activity on the school grounds, led by the SPACE India team. This engaging session not only sparked curiosity but also expanded the horizons of our young learners. Such experiences play a pivotal role in nurturing a deep passion for learning and exploration. Here's to cultivating a future full of curiosity and promise for our students.

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY 

" It's hard to beat a person who never gives up ".
As the air we breathe in , is to a healthy mind and body so is any physical activity to a healthy and a youthful you .
The Pre Primary group of St. Xavier's sector 81 branch celebrated NATIONAL SPORTS DAY with great honor and respect . All activites conducted within the classes as well as outdoors reverberated with the spirit of constant zeal and enthusiasm which plays a key role in an individuals growth.  
The little tiny tots of Pre Nursery and Nursery kids indulged in a creative collage making activity of different sports played across the world , the children were very excited to name the sport and identify all the pictures brought by them to create a beautiful creative art piece.
On the other hand all the KG Grade children involved themselves in outdoor running sessions,  which strengthened their gross motor skills and physical strength. Also discussion about NATIONAL SPORTS DAY was held in the classes to motivate the young sparkling minds . All children were given trophy badges to encourage sportsmanship. 
In totality it was a fun filled day with lots of activity and gratitude towards our sports fraternity. 
We wish them great rising and goodwill for years to come.

Special assembly II H   

A special assembly on 29th August to celebrate Raksha bandhan and to reflect upon the timeless relationship between brothers and sisters.

Ahaan and Nyra started the  proceedings of the assembly, by sharing the significance of the festival and how the eternal bond between a brother and sister is celebrated in India. It was followed by a melodious song by tiny tots .This set the tone for the celebrations of this special day.

The children performed a skit where they shared the historical context about the Hindu queen, Karnavati sending a rakhi to Mughal emperor Humayun asking for his help against the invaders. This story inspired the festival where a thread ties together a brother and sister in a lifelong bond of affection and care. The skit also showed a new and unique way of celebrating Rakshabandhan through Eco friendly and Plantable Rakhi’s.
Further it was followed by a pledge to protect and promote love and care for the environment through a plantable rakhi.

The assembly ended with a wonderful dance performance followed by encouraging and motivating words by respected coordinator ma’am.

Grade - III- H 
Topic - Unity in Diversity 

Grade III-H presented an assembly    on the topic  “Unity in Diversity,” It  was a thought-provoking and enlightening event that aimed to highlight the importance of embracing diversity and fostering a sense of unity.
Students in the audience were introduced to the heritage and diverse traditions of our culturally rich country, ‘India’. The confident orators, dancers, singers, performers of Grade III who participated in the assembly enthralled the audience with captivating performances.
The assembly concluded with motivating words by the Headmistress of the school.

Assembly, Grade III-G 
Topic - Generations of Computer 

The students of Grade III G began the assembly with a thought of the day followed by news updates. 
 A brief note on technology and its inception was shared followed by a short poem based on Uses of a Computer.
The students sang a mellifluous song emphasizing the importance of technology in modern era.
The assembly concluded with Words of Wisdom shared by the coordinator ma'am who appreciated the efforts put in by the students.

Special Assembly 2F 
“Good manners are as important as good education..”
Facial beauty can charm the eyes but manners and etiquettes win hearts . Keeping this in mind, the charismatic kids of grade 2F , conducted a special assembly based on the theme “GOOD MANNERS AND ETIQUETTES”
Little Xaverians, adorned in vibrant shades of yellow looking like sunshine 🌞 symbolised the importance of using magic words . Narrators offered a lively introduction to the assembly. They tried to tell the audience that although we are aware of what good manners are, we often tend to forget them. The tiny tots threw light on the importance of using magic words through song and dance . The kids enthusiastically participated in a play which emphasised that our speech , habits as well as our behaviour should never hurt the feelings of others or cause inconvenience to them. The assembly concluded with coordinator Mam addressing and exchanging ideas with the kids . On the parting note , she stressed that good manners help spreading better understanding and goodwill and thus bring about harmony amidst all.

*Grade III F Assembly -Honesty

"Speak with honesty, think with sincerity, and act with integrity."

As the sun painted the sky with warmth, the charismatic students of Grade III F, conducted a special class assembly on the theme of Honesty. Little Xaverians, adorned in vibrant shades of red symbolised the power of honesty and truthfulness. The assembly commenced  with a powerful affirmation: "Speak with honesty, think with sincerity, and act with integrity." The choir's rendition of the song "Honesty" by our students was a melodious marvel that enchanted the hearts of all present . The mesmerizing dance performance on the song “ Honesty” was a visual feast for the eyes.
With hearts full of pride, the assembly concluded with the entire school joining in the chorus of our school song. The efforts and dedication of the Grade III-F students were highly appreciated by our esteemed Headmistress Ma'am, co-ordinator Ma'am, teachers, and fellow students.

CLASS PRESENTATION 
GRADE – KG G

"India, often referred to as the cradle of humanity and the place where human speech originated, holds the distinction of being the mother of History, the grandmother of legends, and the great-grandmother of traditions." - Mark Twain.

On the 22nd of August, 2023, the sparkling glimmers of KG-G at St. Xavier's High School took great pride in presenting their inaugural class presentation centered around the theme "India - A Prodigious Country ."

Commencing with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and extending warm felicitation to distinguished guests, the event kicked off with a heartfelt welcome extended to the esteemed headmistress ma'am and coordinator ma'am.

Following the Morning Prayer, the young Xaverians held the audience in rapt attention with their standout performance titled "A Day in the Symbol Land," which not only provided entertainment but also imparted awareness about flag etiquette.

The atmosphere resonated with melodious tunes that carried both sweetness and patriotism as they harmoniously sang songs like "LOVE MY COUNTRY INDIA." The audience found themselves captivated as the performance took them on a journey through India, skillfully highlighting the unity of its diverse nature and culture.

To uphold the spirit of patriotism, the star performers of KG G  delivered an absorbing medley of patriotic songs for the grand finale.

Concluding the event, an interactive Trivia quiz game was conducted, wherein the winners were rewarded with exquisitely crafted bookmarks created by the young Xaverians. The speeches delivered by the Headmistress and Coordinator served as motivational fuel, inspiring the students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.

ORANGE COLOUR DAY

Orange is an exciting and encouraging Colour. St. Xaviers High School celebrated 'Orange Colour Day' on 22nd August , 2023 for Pre Nursery and Nursery  students.
Tiny tots in orange radiated warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and enthusiasm of red with the cheerfulness of yellow . 
The colour Orange exudes youthfulness, happiness and joy. The children enjoyed orange colour day activity where they made beautiful 3 D Orange craft. 
Children also visited the orange corner where they saw Orange , fish , flowers and various objects depicting the Colour.
The children enjoyed a lot and it was indeed a pleasure to witness little ones dressed up in orange colour clothes bubbling with energy and fascination.

Trinity Felicitation ceremony for Speech n Drama - 2022-23 
“A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement.”
St. Xavier’s High School always takes pride to acknowledge the achievements of the students in scholastic and co-scholastic spheres.
A Felicitation Ceremony was organised to enhance the zeal of the young Xaverians and give recognition to their commendable performance in Trinity Speech & Drama Programme for the session 2022-23.
The event commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp followed by a mellifluous musical performance. Our worthy Vice Principal Ma’am Ms Sarika R Chopra and Guest of Honour Mr Varun Mata felicitated the young Xaverians for their accomplishments. The students performed a thrilling dance emphasizing the importance of preserving and conserving nature. 
The Guest of Honour Mr. Varun Mata, expressed his happiness and gratitude for being a part of the celebration of the numerous achievements of St. Xavier's High School. He congratulated the leadership, students, faculty and parents. He recognized the stature maintained by the school in both academic and co-scholastic areas during its journey through the years and emphasised the fact that excellence could only be achieved through hard work and perseverance. 
Our worthy Vice Principal ma’am Ms. Sarika R. Chopra addressed the gathering and thanked the Guest of Honour for gracing the ceremony with his presence. She praised the students for their achievements and consistent efforts and thanked the parents for their continued support. She also thanked the staff and students for making this event a success.

CLASS PRESENTATION 
GRADE – KG A
TOPIC – THE KALEIDOSCOPE OF EMOTIONS
DATE – 18th August, 2023
 A famous poet has quoted – Our emotions are the slaves to our thoughts, and we are the slaves to our emotions. When we learn to control them, we become the master of our own destiny. Emotions and feelings are some of the driving forces in our lives that control our reactions, ideas and choices.
Today, the shiny stars of KG -  A delved into the deeper sea of feelings and performed a mesmerizing art of expressions in their Class Presentation titled “The Kaleidoscope of Emotions”- a concept that allows all forms of emotions to be seen in light and appreciate its strength and beauty.
The event commenced with a cordial welcome extended  to our esteemed Vice Principal ma'am and Coordinator ma'am along with the presenting of the badges,   the divine blessings and unveiling of the presentation's theme.
 Kids dressed up in exquisite attire with vibrant props embarked on the journey of a strong, confident and amazing stage enactment that kept the audience spellbound on their seats.
The children executed a captivating dance performance that elicited smiles and brought forth an atmosphere of joy to all in attendance.
 Bright and shimmering Xaverians summarized the act on an important note that left the audience dazzled – “Life is like an ever-shifting kaleidoscope-a slight change and all patterns alter.
Towards the end, Our esteemed  Vice Principal Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am shared their reflections, expressing appreciation for the student's remarkable performances. The day concluded by paying tribute to our nation through the rendition of the National Anthem.

Special assembly - III F 

"Speak with honesty, think with sincerity, and act with integrity."

Special assembly - 2D 
On the 17th of August 2023, we conducted the assembly on the topic
 'Good Touch and Bad Touch'.
Our angels of 2D beautifully presented and spread knowledge among the kids. 
 For many obvious reasons, we need to teach our kids about good touch and bad touch and the difference between the two. 
This knowledge is a savior for our kids. Hence we need to educate our kids about the desirable and undesirable touches to avoid any unpleasant experience. 
The efforts of the participants made this topic more familiar and easy to understand.

Special assembly - 1B 
"Let's nurture the nature so that we can have a better future."
Nature is the gift that surrounds us and provides us with countless benefits. It is our responsibility to appreciate and protect it. Grade 1 B presented a special assembly on the theme 'Guardians of Nature'. The assembly commenced by presenting a welcome badge to the mentors, followed by the thought of the day and news update.
Students beautifully presented the ways by which we can protect our nature. The tiny tots threw light on the importance of nature through song and dance presentation. Every child was given an opportunity to display their talent. The appreciation showered by our respected coordinator mam boosted the confidence of young Xaverians.

Independence day celebrations 
On the 15th of August, 2023 the school premises were abuzz with excitement and patriotism as students, teachers and staff gathered to celebrate India’s 77th Independence Day. The highlight of the day was the solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, a tradition that reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the significance of the day in our nation’s history.
The event began with the school’s headmistress Ms Shalini Kaul and Coordinator Ms Shivani Mehra along with teachers and students taking their places near the flagpole. The Indian national flag, proudly displaying the tricolour of saffron, white, and green, fluttered gently in the breeze, ready to be raised to the top.
The entire atmosphere was filled with a sense of unity and pride, as everyone sang the national anthem with fervor.
The ceremony also featured various cultural performances by students, showcasing India’s rich diversity through dance, music, and poetry. These performances added a touch of celebration to the solemnity of the occasion, reminding us that our unity lies in our diversity.
The flag hoisting ceremony at St. Xavier’s High School, sector 81 on Independence Day was a poignant and meaningful event that brought together the school community to honour our nation’s history, values, and the spirit of freedom.

Independence week celebrations - 
The Independence Day celebrations by the pre-primary and primary wing was a dynamic exhibition of patriotism and unity, spanning an entire week. Throughout the festivities, the children immersed themselves in an array of activities to honor the occasion.  
The undercurrent of nationalistic pride was palpable among the young Xaverians. The quote "Saare Jahan se Achha Hindustan Hamara" echoed through their endeavors, beautifully encapsulating their profound admiration for their motherland. Beyond commemorating India's independence, this event profoundly instilled a genuine love and respect for the nation within the hearts of these budding minds.

Special assembly - 1D

The learners of Grade 1D of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 celebrated India’s 77th Independence Day with vigour and zeal by conducting a Special Assembly at school. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The assembly commenced by presenting a welcome badge to the honourable Headmistress Ma’am and respected Coordinator Ma’am followed by a motivating thought and News headlines. With great enthusiasm and creativity it was followed by a short story on Independence in the form of a skit further carried forward by a soulful Poem. Patriotic fervour and spirit were ignited with an enthralling dance performance showcasing courage, determination and patriotism evoking a sense of pride and joy of being an Indian.
Our Head Mistress ma’am addressed the students and instilled a feeling of nationalism and patriotism in them by emphasizing on serving the country and becoming responsible citizens. She also applauded the performance of the students and urged them to do their best and always feel proud of being Indians. The program came to an end with the rendition of the National Anthem.
