Pre primary, Nature Conservation Day

Nature Conservation Day holds immense importance as it serves as a powerful reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world.
Our kindergarteners embarked this day with  an exciting nature walk, exploring the wonders of the outdoors thus learning about the importance of preserving our environment.
Pre Nursery and Nursery wing also celebrated Green Colour Day. Little children dressed up themselves in beautiful shades of green to symbolize their commitment towards protecting Mother Nature. By celebrating Nature Conservation Day, we reinforce the crucial role that nature plays in our lives and inspire collective efforts towards a healthier planet for future generations.  Let's nurture a love for the environment in our young ones and inspire a greener, brighter future!

      VAN MAHOTSAV

      VAN MAHOTSAV

“He who plants a tree, plants hope!”

Van Mahotsav is an annual tree-planting festival celebrated throughout India to honour and pay respect to the mighty creators and the lungs of Mother Earth.

St. Xavier's High School Sector-81 observed Van Mahotsav on the 6th of July 2023. The teachers, students, and all the other staff of the school looked up to the almighty plants and celebrated this event by spreading joy and good words about plants.

This year Pre-Nursery and Nursery students participated in a colouring page event. Kindergarten students did the Rally where they expressed the importance of planting trees and their socio-economic effects. Several hazardous problems or issues created by deforestation were highlighted through this rally. Grade 1 students did the plantation drive which showed our gratitude towards our mother nature for maintaining our life on Earth. Grades 2 & 3 students had a slogan writing event. The adorable students had beautifully written the slogans on an A4 size sheet. The theme was well depicted through their slogans. It brought happiest smiles over everyone’s faces.
The curiosity to learn and the will to change were clearly seen in the children the following days. As it is always said, “It's better late than never!”. There is no perfect timing to do anything. It’s you who makes the present timing perfect and implements things.
