Go Sharpener Workshop: Nurturing Young Eco-Warriors!

St. Xavier's High School had the pleasure of hosting an insightful Go Sharpener workshop, where Mr. Vineet Vohra from the Give Me Trees Trust enlightened our young learners about plants that support butterfly eggs and help nurture biodiversity. The interactive session sparked curiosity and a deep sense of environmental responsibility among the students. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Vohra for inspiring our children to play an active role in protecting nature and creating a greener tomorrow!

"TEAM TREK TAKES OVER ST. XAVIER'S!

The students of Grade 1H at St. Xavier's had an unforgettable experience at their special assembly on Team Trek! The young adventurers took to the stage to perform an energetic and engaging dance performances and skit that left the audience in awe.

With their colorful costumes, infectious enthusiasm, and impressive dance moves, the students of Grade 1H truly brought the spirit of Team Trek to life. Their performance was a testament to their teamwork, creativity, and dedication to the theme.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 1H students for their outstanding performance and for embodying the values of St. Xavier's. They have shown that even at a young age, they can work together, support each other, and achieve great things.

The Annual Day Concert, Splish Splash Bash Grade I was a heartfelt tribute to the wonders of nature, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals six, thirteen and fourteen. We were grateful to witness the children's enthusiasm and dedication as they wove together enchanting music, thought-provoking performances, and inspiring messages, emphasizing the importance of harmony with nature. The Engaging plays commenced with soulful melodies, setting a serene tone conveyed poignant conservation messages, while high-energy performances, including the Pearly Shell, Jelly Fish, Mermaid dances and Action song dance captivated the audience. Informative presentations offered practical eco-friendly tips, fostering a sense of responsibility among the spectators. Marine life is a treasure trove of biodiversity, full of wonders waiting to be discovered beneath the ocean's waves.

The grand finale, which united all performers, was a testament to the children's ability to come together in celebration of our planet's beauty. We are thankful for the opportunity to nurture their growth and appreciation for environmental conservation and sustainability.

Valentine’s Day Celebration in Kindergarten

Our little ones had a joyful Valentine’s Day, filled with creativity and love! They crafted their "Love Keeps Growing" Valentine Tree in their art files, decorating it with colorful hearts. Excitement filled the air as they molded and painted clay hearts, creating beautiful keepsakes. The fun continued with a Kitchenette Activity, where they prepared simple Valentine-themed treats, learning the joy of sharing. Through these activities, our children expressed love, friendship and creativity, making the day truly special!

The little stars of KG-D brought to life a beautiful and meaningful assembly on the theme of honesty. The program began with a heartwarming song on honesty, where our young performers sang with enthusiasm, reminding us why honesty is the best policy.

Following this, the children portrayed an engaging play that highlighted the importance of truthfulness in our daily lives. Their innocent expressions and sincere performances beautifully conveyed the message that honesty always leads to trust and respect.

To conclude this wonderful presentation, our tiny dancers lit up the stage with a joyful dance performance, symbolizing the purity and positivity that honesty brings into our lives.

Our respected HM Ma’am then addressed the gathering, applauding the efforts of the children and their teachers. She encouraged everyone to always choose truthfulness and integrity, emphasizing how honesty shapes our character and builds strong relationships.

A big round of applause for our little ones for their exceptional performance and for reminding us that honesty is indeed the foundation of a good life!

Grade 2: Visit to the Post Office

On 7th February’25, our Grade 2 students had an exciting educational trip to the local post office. This visit was part of our community helper curriculum, where they have been learning about how communication works and the role the post office plays in sending letters and packages. They saw a post box/ letter box and were able to see firsthand how mail is processed.
The children were fascinated to see how letters and packages are organized and sent to the correct destinations. They also learned about the different types of stamps and why they are important for mail delivery.
Overall, it was a fun and informative trip that helped bring our lessons to life!

STEAM TECHNO EVENT: Igniting Young Minds!

Parents were delighted to witness the enthusiasm and creativity of our young innovators at the Grade 3 STEAM Techno Event. The event was a perfect blend of hands-on learning and scientific exploration, where students confidently presented their projects and experiments.  

From engaging Scratch coding projects to exciting robotic models like Rockblaster and Claw, students demonstrated their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge. The Fun with Flopper and Spirograph activities sparked creativity, while science experiments like Rising Water and Candle with Eno left everyone amazed.  

Parents actively participated, making the event an interactive and enriching experience for all. The students’ confident explanations and innovative projects truly showcased the power of experiential learning!

OUT IN THE SUN ACTIVITY- There's something about fresh air, sunshine, or a nice breeze that just puts you in good mood and motivates you making you want to get some exercise. Relieves stress – Picnics are a great stress buster as it helps to energize oneself.
So, here our Pre- Nursery started their day OUT IN THE SUN as a part of their curriculum. Kids enjoyed fun- filled activities and felt the warmth under the Sun with lots of games, dance, music and lovely craft as take away.

Students of Grade 1 G presented a wonderful special assembly on Basant Panchami. They began by explaining the significance of the festival, honouring Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of wisdom and learning. A captivating story about the importance of knowledge was narrated, followed by a melodious song praising Saraswati Maa. The vibrant dance performance, filled with energy and joy, brought the festive spirit alive. Dressed in bright yellow, they beautifully showcased the essence of the festival. The assembly ended with heartfelt wishes for wisdom, prosperity and happiness for all!

St. Xavier’s High School celebrated Basant Panchami with joy and enthusiasm, marking the arrival of spring and honouring Goddess Saraswati. Nursery children dressed in yellow recited Saraswati Vandana, while KG students engaged in a creative craft activity and enjoyed an interactive story session. UKG students deepened their understanding through a special presentation and Vandana recitation. Grade 1 students presented a lively assembly with dance, song and enactments. Grade 2 students sang devotional songs, embracing the festive spirit, while Grade 3 students beautifully recited Hindi poems on nature, spring and Saraswati Puja. The celebration was a vibrant and enriching experience for all.

STEAM TECHNO EVENT: A Hands-on Experience!

Parents were thrilled to witness young innovators dive into Robotics, Coding and Science experiments in an engaging event. Students showcased VEX GO Super Car, Bug Robot and Motorized Super Car, while Scratch coding projects like Save the Earth, Water Cycle and Water Boat Game impressed all. Science came alive with Invisible Ink, Eno Reactions, Lemon Volcano, Rainbow in a Jar and Balloon Water Dispenser experiments, sparking curiosity and creativity in every student!
