World Nature Conservation Day
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
On July 26, 2024, St. Xavier’s High School Sector 81 celebrated Nature Conservation Day with great enthusiasm and creativity among the students of the primary wing. This special day was marked by a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at fostering an appreciation for nature and promoting environmental awareness.
The young scholars of grades 1 and 3 showcased their artistic talents by creating beautiful and vibrant collages using dry leaves and twigs. These natural materials were transformed into stunning artworks, reflecting the students’ creativity and their connection to nature.
Grade 2 students participated in group activities, where they collaborated to create unique artifacts from waste leaves and twigs. This hands-on project not only encouraged teamwork but also highlighted the potential of recycling natural waste into beautiful and useful items.
Through these activities, students learned valuable lessons about sustainability and the positive impact of recycling on the environment.
