Yoga For Humanity:On Path of creating Yogaveers
The present day world has acknowledged the significance of Yoga and is visible at all levels.To foster the same spirit, our students were briefed about the benefits of inculcating yoga as a part of our lives with due emphasis on its effect on learning process.
The 5th day of Yogveer Programme commenced on a serene morning wherein Team Xavier’s and students got involved in the global movement for Health and Wellness through ‘Yoga for Humanity’. Prayers were offered to the Almighty, followed by brief warm up exercises and Om chanting. The enthusiastic gathering performed various Yoga asanas under the tutelage and able guidance of Yoga teacher. Step by step instructions were given for each asana along with their benefits to allow participants to consciously experience all the Yoga asanas.
The day taught students asanas such as Kapal Bharti Pranayam, Surya Namaskar, Lotus pose, Hasta-Utthanasana, Bhadrasana and Shavasana. The session was well received by the students and they were encouraged to think about their physical and spiritual well-being. Team Xavier’s is committed to spread the essence of Yoga for benefit of one and all.
