Thanksgiving Day Celebration at Our School
This year, our school embraced the spirit of Thanksgiving with a series of heartwarming and creative activities that brought our entire community together to reflect on gratitude and kindness.
Grade Nascent: Our youngest learners kicked off the celebrations by exploring the theme of thankfulness. Through guided activities, they created beautiful handprint cards to express their gratitude for the people and things they hold dear.
Grade Nursery: Nursery students participated in a hands-on DIY activity, using sketch files and worksheets to craft colorful thank-you cards for their teachers. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to practice fine motor skills while expressing appreciation.
Grade KG: Kindergarteners joined in the fun with a turkey-themed craft during story circle time, where they listened to a heartwarming tale about gratitude and sharing. The children then used their creativity to make their own turkey masterpieces!
Grade UKG: UKG students explored the significance of Thanksgiving through a combination of craft and storytelling. They designed their own Thanksgiving cards and crafted cute, festive turkeys, learning the importance of giving thanks and showing kindness.
Grade 1-3: Our Grade 1-3 students had a wonderful time reflecting on the importance of Thanksgiving. After listening to stories about gratitude, they created meaningful, personalized cards to say "thank you" to their teachers, demonstrating their appreciation in their own unique ways.
Overall, it was a day filled with joy, creativity, and gratitude. The activities not only celebrated the essence of Thanksgiving but also nurtured the values of sharing, kindness, and appreciation across all grade levels. What a memorable celebration!
