“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.”
World Literacy Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the early years, creating joyful and meaningful experiences for our young learners.
The celebrations began with our Pre-Nursery and Nursery children, who set out on an exciting visit to the school library – the “Abode of Knowledge.” With curiosity shining in their eyes, they explored different sections of the library, discovering the magical world of books and stories. This early exposure helped nurture their love for reading while widening their circle of knowledge and imagination.
Our Kindergarten students showcased their creativity through a bookmark-making competition. With bright colors and endless imagination, the little artists designed beautiful bookmarks that not only reflected their artistic skills but also highlighted the importance of reading in a fun and engaging way.
The celebrations concluded with our enthusiastic Grade I learners, who participated in an interactive literacy quiz. With joyful energy, they answered questions, displayed their knowledge, and celebrated the joy of learning together.
Through these activities, World Literacy Day served as a gentle reminder that the journey of literacy begins early—sparked by curiosity, nurtured by creativity, and strengthened through knowledge. Together, our children celebrated the power of reading as the first step toward becoming lifelong learners.
