✨ Victory of Good Over Evil: Dussehra Celebrations at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 ✨
The vibrant campus of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 echoed with festive cheer as students across all grades celebrated the auspicious festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm, joy, and devotion. The celebrations aimed to instil in young minds the timeless values of righteousness, courage, and the triumph of good over evil.
The festivities began in the Nursery wing with an engaging Storytelling Workshop on Eco-Friendly Dussehra, organised as part of the My School My Family initiative. Through an interactive narrative, children learned about making responsible choices — from lighting diyas instead of bursting crackers to planting trees and protecting the environment. The session was followed by a fun-filled craft activity, along with dance and song activities, making the day truly memorable.
The students of Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten celebrated the festival with equal excitement. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they listened to the stories of Dussehra and Navratri, explored their cultural significance, and created beautiful festival-themed crafts. The spirit of festivity was evident in their smiles and creativity as they celebrated the victory of truth and virtue.
Students of Grades I to III marked the occasion by watching a story based on the life and values of Lord Rama, reinforcing the message of righteousness, humility, and compassion. Dressed in traditional outfits, the young Xaverians embraced the spirit of the festival and reflected on the lessons it imparts.
The celebrations concluded with hearts filled with happiness and spirits enriched with timeless values. 🌟
May this Dussehra bring light, positivity, and success into everyone’s lives, inspiring us all to conquer negativity and walk the path of goodness.
