Grandparents are the roots that hold families together and to honour their unconditional love, St. Xavier’s High School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great joy and reverence for our little Xaverians of Pre-Nursery to Grade III.

The celebration began on a traditional note with a Tilak ceremony, extending a warm welcome to the proud grandparents. The air was filled with laughter and cheer as grandparents and children participated in fun-filled class games, creating cherished memories together. The little ones expressed their love and gratitude through a thoughtful handmade bouquet, a beautiful token to take home as a memory of the day.

To make the occasion more meaningful, grandparent penned down their heartfelt feedback, reflecting the warmth and happiness they felt during the celebration.

The day was truly a blend of tradition, joy and love. An unforgettable tribute to the pillars of every family.

On 9 September, 2025, the students of Grade II at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector-81 visited the Fire Station as part of their EVS chapter “People Who Help Us”. The young learners got to know about the role of firefighters, explored the equipment, and connected their learning with the school’s fire drill.

As part of the EVS chapter “Places of Worship”, the children also visited a temple within the fire station premises, where they offered prayers and took blessings of the Almighty.

The day proved to be an enriching and practical experience, enabling our Xaverians to blend classroom concepts with real-life exposure. 🌟

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.”

World Literacy Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the early years, creating joyful and meaningful experiences for our young learners.

The celebrations began with our Pre-Nursery and Nursery children, who set out on an exciting visit to the school library – the “Abode of Knowledge.” With curiosity shining in their eyes, they explored different sections of the library, discovering the magical world of books and stories. This early exposure helped nurture their love for reading while widening their circle of knowledge and imagination.

Our Kindergarten students showcased their creativity through a bookmark-making competition. With bright colors and endless imagination, the little artists designed beautiful bookmarks that not only reflected their artistic skills but also highlighted the importance of reading in a fun and engaging way.

The celebrations concluded with our enthusiastic Grade I learners, who participated in an interactive literacy quiz. With joyful energy, they answered questions, displayed their knowledge, and celebrated the joy of learning together.

Through these activities, World Literacy Day served as a gentle reminder that the journey of literacy begins early—sparked by curiosity, nurtured by creativity, and strengthened through knowledge. Together, our children celebrated the power of reading as the first step toward becoming lifelong learners.
