Nurturing Young Environmental Stewards on National Pollution Control Day

The school observed National Pollution Control Day with meaningful activities across all grades, fostering awareness about pollution, its impact, and the need for responsible, eco-friendly practices. In the early years section, Pre-Nursery children learned about pollution, its causes, and simple preventive measures in an age-appropriate manner. Nursery students further explored the theme and expressed their understanding through creative freehand drawings that depicted clean surroundings and greener environments. The Kindergarten students brought great energy to the day by participating in a lively awareness rally around the campus, enthusiastically chanting slogans such as “Plant More Trees,” “Save Energy,” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” Their participation helped them recognise the importance of caring for the Earth and encouraged them to pledge their efforts towards keeping the environment clean and green.

For Grades I and II, the observance of National Pollution Control Day was meaningfully integrated with a special BMW Road Safety Workshop, helping students understand not only road safety but also environment-friendly travel practices. During the session, facilitators highlighted simple yet impactful habits such as carpooling, switching off vehicle engines at traffic lights to reduce emissions, and choosing cleaner modes of transport whenever possible. The workshop included a Pre-Test to gauge students’ initial understanding, followed by interactive demonstrations, visuals, and a simulation activity that enabled children to practically experience safe and responsible behaviour on the road. The Post-Test showed improved awareness and reinforced the importance of making thoughtful choices that protect both people and the planet. Alongside the workshop, students of Grades I and II also engaged in brief classroom discussions connected to environmental care. Grade II students additionally took part in a sort-and-solve activity where they classified pictures of clean cities and polluted cities, helping them clearly recognise the difference and reflect on the role they play in keeping their surroundings healthy.

Grade III students deepened the day’s learning through a discussion on various types of pollution and their harmful effects. They concluded the activity by writing thoughtful and practical solutions to combat pollution, demonstrating their growing understanding and responsibility as young environmental stewards.

Overall, the school’s observance of National Pollution Control Day was an enriching experience for all learners.

"Act Today or Breathe Pollution Tomorrow."
 On the occasion of National Pollution Control Day" The KG - B class presented a lively and insightful special assembly.  The young learners confidently shared the information regarding the day and the harmful effects of pollution. They showcased their talents through a  Nukkad Natak that highlighted the vital consequences of air pollution in our everyday lives. 

The assembly continued with the Eco Warriors shouting the slogan " Stop Polluting Start Living" and by sharing the information about how vehicle's smoke, loud music, excessive chemical usage is enhancing global warming.

The assembly also featured a melodious song depicting that even small changes can make a big difference and an energetic dance performance  adding enthusiasm to the event. 

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Headmistress ma'am and the Coordinator ma'am whose encouragement and appreciation further motivated the little performers. The assembly ended with a pledge followed by National Anthem and a learning to work towards a cleaner and greener future.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY-WALT DISNEY DAY✨

Today, our tiny wonders of KG–A transported everyone into the enchanting world of Walt Disney with a vibrant and heart-warming special assembly.The programme began with confident dialogues which beautifully introduced the magic, imagination, and dreams that Walt Disney gifted to the world.Children also shared inspiring messages from iconic Disney heroes—courage from Moana, kindness from Cinderella etc.The audience was delighted as the kids walked in a colourful Disney Parade, dressed as their favourite characters like Mickey, Minnie, Elsa, Moana .
The assembly further came alive with a sweet Disney song, followed by a lively dance performance that had everyone smiling and clapping along. Our little stars truly spread magic with their energy and confidence.
The event concluded with motivating and heartfelt words from HM Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am, appreciating the efforts of the children and teachers for putting up such a delightful show. Finally, the morning wrapped up with pride as everyone stood together for the National Anthem.

The young Xaverians at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, celebrated Walt Disney Day with immense excitement and joy. The day began with a vibrant and engaging assembly presented by KG-A, which beautifully showcased the timeless magic and creativity of beloved Disney characters. The celebration continued as the children enjoyed a special screening of Tinkerbell Adventures, made even more delightful with crunchy popcorn.

The joy extended to our early learners in Pre-Nursery and Nursery, who enthusiastically watched their favourite movie, Peter Rabbit, creating a cheerful and heartwarming movie-time experience.

Students from the primary section also joined in the celebration. Grade I explored the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland, while Grade II enjoyed a lively session of Disney Freeze Dance followed by drawing their favourite Disney characters, allowing them to express their creativity and love for the iconic stories. Grade III embraced the festive spirit through Mickey’s Christmas Carol, deepening their appreciation for classic Disney storytelling.

The entire day was a wonderful blend of imagination, creativity, and shared happiness. With movies, music, art, laughter, and popcorn enjoyed by all, Walt Disney Day truly brought magic to life on our campus.

The Grade I Annual Concert unfolded over two vibrant and memorable days, bringing the enchanting theme The Magic of Books to life with colour, creativity, and imagination. The young Xaverians of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, transported the audience into extraordinary worlds—fairy tales, thrilling adventures, lush jungles, cosmic journeys, and much more. Each performance radiated innocence, confidence, and artistic expression, showcasing the remarkable potential of our young learners. 📚✨

A thoughtfully curated script wove the entire presentation together, connecting every act like chapters of an unfolding storybook. This seamless narrative made the audience feel as though they were travelling from one magical tale to the next, experiencing the joy and wonder of storytelling in its purest form.

We were honoured to welcome our esteemed guests during the celebration:
⭐ Ms. Ambika Rikhye, a published author admired for her insightful work on relationships, parenting, and well-being.
⭐ Ms. Mini Agarwal, a Digital Transformation Leader, humanitarian, and author, actively contributing to community upliftment through the Rotary Club of New Gurgaon.

Their gracious presence added depth and warmth to the occasion, inspiring the children with their encouraging words and appreciation for the arts.

As the performances unfolded, the stage came alive with expressive dialogues, rhythmic movements, and heartfelt storytelling. Every act beautifully celebrated the joy of reading, imagination, and the timeless magic that books bring into a child’s world.
