At St. Xavier's High School, the much-awaited Night Camp unfolded like a dream under the starlit sky. An enchanting blend of adventure, laughter and togetherness that created memories to last a lifetime. Students gathered with sparkling eyes and infectious excitement, ready to embark on a night filled with wonder and exploration.
The thrill began with exhilarating adventure activities that tested courage and confidence. Students scaled new heights during rock climbing, conquering their fears with determination. The Burma Bridge challenged their balance and focus, while the Laser Maze had them ducking, twisting, and laughing as they skillfully dodged the beams. The energetic Hipty Hop ride brought waves of joy and the Camel Ride added a delightful touch of rustic adventure to the evening.
As night deepened, the warmth of a glowing bonfire brought everyone together. Students gathered around, sharing laughter, stories and moments of camaraderie under the open sky, creating a cozy and memorable atmosphere filled with cheer and bonding.
The magic of the night soared higher during the telescope viewing session, where students gazed in awe at the celestial wonders above. Spotting stars and planets ignited curiosity and amazement, turning the night into a beautiful blend of learning and imagination.
Adding to the excitement, the DJ set the mood with lively music that had everyone dancing with uncontainable enthusiasm. A spread of sumptuous food delighted taste buds.
The camp buzzed with energy until morning. The next day began with refreshing morning exercises, rejuvenating minds and bodies alike. After a hearty breakfast, students dispersed with smiling faces, hearts full of joy and countless unforgettable memories.
The Night Camp at St. Xavier's High School was more than just an event. It was a celebration of friendship, courage, curiosity and shared experiences. From stargazing and bonfire moments to thrilling adventures, the camp etched beautiful memories that will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all who participated.

Fun-Filled Learning: Grade II In-House Picnic & Outdoor Games

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the students of grade II, enthusiastically participated in an activity-based learning session as part of their EVS chapter “Games We Play.” The school organized an in-house picnic along with a variety of outdoor games to make learning fun and experiential.

The children actively took part in traditional games such as Seven Stones, Hopscotch, Kho Kho and Tug of War. These games encouraged teamwork, coordination, physical fitness, and sportsmanship among the students. They also enjoyed sharing their homemade healthy snacks with their friends, which added to the spirit of togetherness and joy.

The event successfully combined learning with fun, helping students understand the importance of outdoor games and healthy habits. It was truly a joyful and enriching experience for all.

Reflecting Tagore’s profound thought on meaningful growth beyond time, KG I presented a thoughtful class assembly reviewing the academic journey of 2025–26, portraying the children’s transformation from tiny beginners into confident young learners.
The assembly commenced with a delightful poem, setting a joyful tone for the programme. This was followed by a warm and respectful welcome extended to our esteemed HM Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am.
The dazzling stars then presented a melodious song highlighting the pivotal role of teachers in shaping their learning journey and expressed heartfelt gratitude to them. This was followed by a meaningful skit that creatively depicted the academic journey of 2025–26 through the stages of a butterfly’s life cycle.The academic year 2025-26 was a transformative journey, mirroring a butterfly's life cycle - from learning the basics  to growing foundational skills, exploring and understanding, and finally spreading wings with confidence and joy.
Another captivating highlight of the assembly was a vibrant “Yes, We Can!” dance performance, symbolising confidence, readiness, and the courage to spread their wings towards new beginnings .
The assembly concluded with wise and encouraging words from our respected HM Ma’am, who appreciated the children’s efforts. The event beautifully celebrated a year of growth, learning, and joyful experiences.

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, students across all grades watched an engaging story that beautifully highlighted the significance of this sacred Indian festival. Through the visual narration, they gained meaningful knowledge about Lord Shiva, the importance of prayer, devotion, and self-discipline.

Grade I students not only understood the essence of the celebration but also participated in a peaceful meditation session, chanting “Om Namah Shivaya,” which created a calm and positive atmosphere. Grade III Xaverians further expressed their understanding by creating beautiful drawings inspired by the festival.

The celebration was a wonderful blend of learning, reflection, and creativity, enriching the students with cultural awareness and spiritual values.

The Valentine’s Day Special Assembly by KG H began with a warm and joyful atmosphere. The assembly commenced with the felicitation of our respected Headmistress Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am, who were honoured with a token of love by the little ones.
This was followed by a melodious musical performance, where all the children sang cheerfully, spreading happiness all around. The excitement continued with an engaging play titled “Cupid’s Magical Arrows of Love,” in which the children beautifully involved the audience and conveyed the true meaning of love, kindness, and sharing.
To further celebrate the spirit of Valentine’s Day, a delightful dance presentation “Love in Every Bond” was performed, showcasing love between family, friends, and teachers. The assembly was enriched by the Headmistress Ma’am’s words of wisdom, which inspired everyone present.
The special assembly concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving behind smiles, joy, and a heartfelt message of love.

The day commenced with a graceful traditional welcome, followed by a meticulously curated programme that beautifully reflected the spirit of harmony, excellence, and global camaraderie. From the electrifying XavBeats performance and the serene yoga presentation to the inspiring address by the Headmistress showcasing the institution’s vision and achievements, every segment resonated with passion and purpose. During the programme, the Coordinator delivered a heartfelt address, sharing reflections of her enriching journey to Russia in April 2025, recounting her experiences, observations, and the deep connections formed through educational exchange. The delegates were then taken on an extensive school tour, where they visited classrooms, laboratories, activity rooms, and sports facilities, witnessing engaging learning experiences and thoughtfully conducted activities across grades. They expressed immense happiness on seeing the Xaverians actively involved, confident, and learning in such a vibrant and beautiful manner. Enthralling performances including ballroom dance, skating, and “The Sacred Flame” added elegance and energy to the celebration, and the programme culminated with the School Song and National Anthem, echoing pride and unity. The Indo-Russian Educational Meet stood as a meaningful milestone in strengthening educational bonds and nurturing lasting friendships, leaving behind cherished memories and a renewed commitment to continued collaboration and shared growth.

Spreading the message of love and togetherness, KG G presented a heartwarming class assembly on the theme “Sharing is Caring.” The assembly commenced with a warm welcome and felicitation of our respected Headmistress and Coordinator.
The children confidently spoke about the value of sharing and beautifully conveyed its importance through a short play. Their enactment highlighted how sharing brings happiness and strengthens bonds.
A cheerful song filled the ambience with joy and positivity, followed by a graceful dance performance that captivated the audience.
The assembly concluded with the wise and encouraging words of our Headmistress, appreciating the efforts of the children and reinforcing the importance of sharing in everyday life. The programme ended on a joyful and inspiring note.

The Inter-House skating competition for Grades I to III was conducted successfully on 6th February. The children participated in various categories such as adjustable skates, inline skates, and Quads performances. All the participants performed very well and showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the event.

In this competition, St. Michael House secured the first position, while St. Nicholas House achieved the second position. The event was filled with energy, confidence, and wonderful performances by our young skaters.

Special Assembly on “Celebration of Uniqueness” – Grade 1K
A special assembly on the theme “Celebration of Uniqueness” was conducted by the students of Grade 1K with great enthusiasm and positivity. The assembly aimed to help students understand the importance of individuality, self-acceptance, and respect for differences among people.
The programme began with a thoughtful prayer, followed by a warm welcome extended to our respected HM Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am. The students shared inspiring thoughts, emphasizing that every individual is unique in their own way and that these differences make the world a more beautiful place.
A short speech highlighted the importance of embracing one’s strengths, talents, and cultural diversity. This was followed by a skit that portrayed real-life situations where differences are often misunderstood. The skit conveyed a strong message of kindness, inclusion, and accepting others without judgment. A melodious song celebrating self-confidence and inner beauty further enriched the assembly.
The highlight of the programme was an interactive session where students confidently shared what makes them unique. This activity encouraged self-expression and boosted the confidence of the young learners. Our respected HM Ma’am addressed the gathering and motivated students to take pride in their individuality while respecting the uniqueness of others.
Another captivating moment was a vibrant dance performance by the students. Each dancer’s distinct style and expression beautifully reflected the spirit of the theme and was appreciated with loud applause from the audience.
The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks. Overall, the special assembly was meaningful and inspiring, leaving everyone with the valuable message that being different is not a weakness but a strength.
