St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, proudly hosted its much-anticipated Art Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination, and conscious living. The event showcased the artistic expressions of students from Pre-Nursery to Grade III, beautifully interwoven with themes of sustainability, environmental awareness, and global responsibility.

The exhibition featured a wide array of artwork—ranging from drawings, paintings, collages, and crafts to thoughtfully designed models. Each creation reflected the students’ understanding of key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
                            SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
                            SDG 13: Climate Action
                            SDG 15: Life on Land
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

The highlights included eco-friendly projects using recycled materials, ‘Trash to Treasure’ creations promoting responsible consumption, handmade posters and collages emphasizing clean water, health, education, and life below water, as well as innovative models depicting sustainable housing and global partnerships. Children also celebrated Father’s Day through heartfelt cards, memory booklets, and helping activities—nurturing family bonding while promoting sustainable practices.

Adding depth to the exhibition, students enthusiastically explained their work to visitors, demonstrating both creativity and social awareness. Summer camp projects further enriched the display, bringing colour and variety to the event.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Bharat Jain, Founding Team Member at Go Sharpener, as the esteemed Guest of Honour. With over 15 years of expertise in the Education and Learning Technologies sector, Mr. Jain’s presence lent valuable insight and encouragement to both students and educators.

The event concluded on an inspiring note, leaving everyone present motivated by the young artists’ talent, vision, and commitment towards building a more sustainable and thoughtful world.

The school extends heartfelt appreciation to all parents and students for their enthusiastic participation, creativity and unwavering support in making the event a resounding success.

🌼 Honouring Our Guiding Lights: Guru Purnima Celebration 🌼

“Guru is the light that dispels the darkness of ignorance and leads us on the path of wisdom.”

St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, reverberated with joy and reverence as students from Kindergarten to Grade III came together to celebrate the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima—a day dedicated to expressing heartfelt gratitude towards teachers, mentors, and elders who illuminate our path with knowledge and wisdom.

The little learners of Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten marked the day by listening to the inspiring story behind Guru Purnima. With innocence and warmth, they expressed thanks to their beloved teachers, celebrating their presence through words and joyful expressions.

Grade I students learnt about the significance of this auspicious day and the invaluable role teachers and elders play in shaping their lives. Through meaningful discussions, they understood how gurus guide them with knowledge, care and patience.

To deepen this learning, Grade II and III students participated in reflective writing activities—Grade II engaged in Udharan Lekhan in Hindi, where they wrote examples highlighting the qualities of an ideal guru, while Grade III students composed thoughtful Kavitas (poems) expressing their gratitude and admiration for their teachers. These creative expressions beautifully captured their respect and appreciation for the guiding figures in their lives.

The celebration served as a touching tribute to all mentors and caregivers who nurture young minds with dedication and love.

Let us always remember to honour and respect the invaluable contribution of our teachers and parents—our first gurus—whose guidance shapes our journey and future.🌼🌼🌷

“He who plants a tree, plants a hope.” – Lucy Larcom

Van Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector-81, to raise awareness about the importance of trees and promote a greener, more sustainable future. The celebration was marked by a series of engaging activities that allowed students across various grades to connect with nature and understand their role in protecting the environment.

As part of the celebration, a special Story Reading Competition was organised for Grade 1 students. The objective was to help young learners develop a love for nature, understand the significance of trees, and build sensitivity towards environmental conservation. The students participated wholeheartedly, narrating beautifully illustrated stories that reflected their creativity and growing awareness about ecological issues.

The enthusiasm continued across other grades as well. Kindergarten students enjoyed a lively storytelling session followed by a fun colouring activity centred on the importance of trees. Upper Kindergarten children actively took part in a plantation drive, experiencing the joy of planting and nurturing new life. Meanwhile, Grade 3 students explored their artistic side through a delightful leaf printing activity, which also included meaningful discussions on nature and sustainability.

Adding a sweet touch to the day, World Chocolate Day was also celebrated with fun-filled, hands-on activities. Kindergarten children crafted their favourite chocolates using clay dough, while Upper Kindergarten students designed colourful candy models using paper and clay, making the day both joyful and creatively stimulating.

The celebrations were a beautiful blend of learning and enjoyment, helping young minds grow more conscious and caring towards the environment. The day served as a gentle reminder that small acts of awareness and kindness towards nature can lead to a brighter, greener tomorrow.

On the occasion of International Plastic Bag Free Day, St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by organizing a series of engaging and age-appropriate activities across different grade levels. The day aimed to educate young minds about the harmful impact of plastic on the environment and to inspire them to embrace eco-friendly habits.

The celebration began in the Kindergarten and UKG classes, where children watched an engaging and informative video highlighting the dangers of single-use plastic bags. This was followed by an interactive discussion led by the teachers, during which the little ones shared their understanding of the issue. Their responses reflected surprising awareness and a willingness to bring small changes in their daily routines.

Moving on to Grade 1, the students channeled their creativity by designing eco-friendly badges with impactful messages and illustrations. These badges were not only a fun craft activity but also a medium to raise awareness among their peers and family members about the importance of saying no to plastic and choosing sustainable alternatives.

In Grade 3, the focus was on action through craft and expression. The students created paper bags using old newspapers, beautifully decorated with meaningful slogans such as “Paper is Cool, Plastic is Cruel” and “Bring a Bag, Save the Planet.” The activity encouraged students to think creatively while reinforcing the importance of recycling and responsible consumption.
Such initiatives are a part of the school’s broader mission to instill eco-conscious values in its students and empower them to become responsible global citizens.

What an astronomical adventure our Grade II students had on July 3, 2025!

All our young explorers, accompanied by their teachers, embarked on an exciting trip to the Nehru Planetarium in Delhi.

It was a truly stellar learning experience! Our students were absolutely captivated by the immersive show, where they journeyed through our solar system, discovered distant stars, and learned fascinating facts about the universe. Their curiosity shone as brightly as the stars they observed, as they explored the exhibits and engaged in lively discussions about the cosmos.

This trip was a wonderful opportunity to spark their interest in science and the vast wonders beyond our planet. We're incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and engagement!
