Grade 1 STEAM Expo: Young Minds, Big Ideas!
Our Grade 1 students recently showcased their creativity, curiosity, and innovative spirit at the STEAM Expo, held in our school. This exciting event featured a range of interactive projects and experiments that brought science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to life.
Live Science Experiments:
- Our young scientists amazed everyone with their Live Volcano Experiment, erupting with excitement and curiosity!
- Who knew lemons could float? Our students demonstrated the fascinating concept of density with their Floating Lemon experiment.
Innovative Projects:
- Our mini-engineers designed and built their own Mini Projector, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
- The Hydraulic Lift project was a crowd-pleaser, demonstrating the power of fluid mechanics in a fun and interactive way.
- Our students programmed and built their own VEX GO robots, displaying their coding skills and creativity.
Coding and Gaming:
- Our young coders created interactive games and animations using PictoBlox and Scratch, showcasing their programming skills and imagination.
A Celebration of Learning:
The STEAM Expo was a celebration of our Grade 1 students' learning journey, showcasing their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. We are proud of our young innovators and look forward to seeing their future projects and discoveries!
