The students of Grade 1F took the audience on an exciting journey through the cosmos with their class assembly on Space Odyssey. The theme was chosen to ignite the curiosity and imagination of the students and to explore the wonders of the universe.

The assembly began with a captivating welcome speech, who set the tone for the event. The students then launched into a thrilling space journey, exploring the planets of our solar system.

Each planet was brought to life by the students, who dressed up in colorful costumes and delivered engaging dialogues. From Mercury's scorching heat to Saturn's stunning rings, the students took the audience on a fascinating tour of the cosmos.

The highlight of the assembly was the energetic dance performance, which had the audience clapping along to the beat. The students' enthusiasm and excitement were palpable. Their hard work and dedication shone through in every aspect of the performance.

The assembly concluded with a thought-provoking message from the students, reminding us of the importance of exploring and protecting our universe.

Overall, the class assembly on Space Odyssey was a resounding success, showcasing the creativity, talent and teamwork of the students.

BMW Road Safety Workshop at St. Xavier's High School

St. Xavier's High School organized an exciting BMW Road Safety Workshop to educate students about traffic rules and the importance of safe driving practices. The workshop featured engaging activities, including the use of advanced driving simulators, which allowed students to experience real-life traffic scenarios in a safe environment. They also learnt essential road safety rules and guidelines through interactive sessions. This hands-on experience instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness, empowering students to become responsible citizens on the road.

Celebrating National Girl Child Day at St. Xavier's High School  

St. Xavier's High School celebrated National Girl Child Day with enthusiasm, focusing on empowering young minds. Grade 1 students enjoyed an engaging storytelling session, emphasizing the importance of girls in society. Grade 2 students expressed their thoughts creatively through slogan writing, advocating for equal opportunities and rights. Grade 3 students showcased their talents by composing heartfelt poems, celebrating the strength and potential of every girl. The activities inspired students to support and uplift the girl child with pride.

Republic Day Celebrations at St. Xavier's High School

The spirit of patriotism and unity echoed through the halls of St. Xavier's High School as students from Nursery to Grade 3 celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride.  

The Nursery and Pre-Nursery children brought the theme of "Unity in Diversity" to life. Nursery students dressed in colorful state attires and participated in a Show and Tell activity, sharing insights about different cultures, while the Pre-Nursery children created a beautiful Indian flag with their tiny handprints, symbolizing courage, peace, and growth.  

The Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten students engaged in a Show and Tell competition on the theme "Leaders of Our Country." Dressed as their favorite national heroes, they showcased their admiration and respect. The little ones also crafted tricolor headgears, enjoyed a virtual tour of the Republic Day parade, and sang "We Shall Overcome," fostering a sense of unity and determination.  

In Grade 1, students expressed their solidarity and love for the nation by donning tricolor outfits, adding to the patriotic ambiance.  

Grade 2 commenced the celebrations with an insightful discussion on the significance of Republic Day. A virtual tour of India’s rich heritage followed, along with an engaging roleplay where students dressed as freedom fighters and spoke about their contributions to India’s independence. They also designed beautiful bookmarks, serving as a proud reminder of the nation’s unity and diversity.  

The students of Grade 3 took part in creative activities by making Republic Day-themed badges and watching an inspiring video, deepening their understanding of the importance of this national celebration.  

The entire celebration was a joyful tribute to the values of our republic, leaving students with a profound sense of national pride and belonging.

Our Grade 1 E students enthusiastically participated in the special assembly conducted on January 24th, showcasing their talents and creativity while paying a heartfelt tribute to historical heroes. The event celebrated the remarkable contributions of iconic figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu and many others.  

The assembly began with a vibrant ramp walk, where students beautifully portrayed these legendary personalities. Their confident strides and striking costumes brought these heroes to life, inspiring everyone with their dedication and sacrifices.  

The boys then presented an energetic and spirited action song, emphasizing the values of courage and patriotism. Following this, the girls performed a graceful and captivating dance that highlighted the strength and resilience of our historical icons.  

The students' outstanding performances earned immense appreciation and applause from the Headmistress ma’am, Coordinator ma’am, teachers and fellow students. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and team spirit shone brightly throughout the event.  

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 1 E students for their exceptional efforts in celebrating our rich history and honouring the legacy of our historical heroes.

"The best gift you can give a child is the knowledge of how to use money wisely."

Embracing this idea, kindergarten children participated in a roleplay activity designed to enhance their financial literacy. A stationery shop with a cash counter was set up, and each child was given play money to purchase items. The activity was both enjoyable and educational, as the children eagerly managed their money, demonstrating a sense of responsibility. Through this hands-on experience, they learned about currency notes, coins, and the importance of money in everyday life, laying a strong foundation for essential life skills.

St. Xavier's High School, Sector 81, organized an engaging Social Etiquettes Workshop today, conducted by Mr. Lucky Puchhrat. The session provided valuable insights into essential social manners, effective communication and the importance of respectful interactions in daily life. Through interactive activities and real-life examples, students gained a deeper understanding of proper etiquette and how it contributes to personal and professional success. The workshop was both informative and inspiring, leaving students motivated to practice good manners in all spheres of life.

Lohri Celebration: A Virtual Harvest Delight

The joyous festival of Lohri was celebrated virtually with zeal and enthusiasm across Grades 1 to 3.  

Grade 1 students showcased their creativity through beautiful Lohri-themed card making while enjoying a delightful storytelling session, bringing alive the festival’s charm. Grade 2 students crafted vibrant bonfire models, learning about its significance and grooving to energetic Bhangra moves. Grade 3 students added warmth to the celebration by creating a heartwarming Lohri Wish Chain, sharing positivity and hope for a bountiful harvest season.  

The celebration was a true blend of culture, creativity and cheer!

Confront Your Fears and Embrace Growth

The enlightening session conducted by our esteemed Coordinator, Ms. Shivani Mehra, on "Confront Your Fears and Grow" was a powerful journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Through her insightful guidance, participants were encouraged to identify their fears, understand their roots and face them with courage and determination.  

The motivational words and practical strategies inspired everyone to step out of their comfort zones and view challenges as opportunities for growth. The session left participants feeling empowered to embrace change, overcome limitations and move forward with confidence. It was a transformative experience, reminding us that fear is not a barrier but a stepping stone toward achieving our true potential.

Refocusing & Refreshing: Welcoming Teachers Back with Enthusiasm and Motivation!

After the winter vacation, St. Xavier's High School warmly welcomed its teachers with a day filled with engaging activities and positive energy, organized by HM Ma’am and HR.  

The day began with teachers sharing their holiday experiences by writing on sticky notes and pasting them on the "Vacation Wall." This was followed by a lively JAM activity, where participants picked chits and spoke impromptu for a minute, showcasing creativity and humor.  

Sitting grade-wise, teachers collaborated to reflect on their successes, challenges and strategies for new implementations in the upcoming session. The session concluded on an inspiring note with a motivational story shared by Shivani Ma’am, leaving everyone energized and focused for the term ahead.  

It was a perfect start to the new year, fostering connection, collaboration and a renewed sense of purpose.

The sound meditation session conducted by St. Xavier's High School for its teachers was a truly transformative experience. Led by the serene and insightful Miss Ishita, the session enveloped the participants in a calming atmosphere, guiding them into a state of deep relaxation. Through gentle, soothing sounds and mindful breathing, teachers were able to reconnect with their inner peace, fostering a sense of balance and rejuvenation. The harmonious vibrations created an environment of tranquillity, allowing each teacher to embrace mindfulness, release stress and cultivate a renewed sense of clarity and focus.
