Our school burst into a vibrant book haven, celebrating World Book Day with unbridled enthusiasm! 

The festivities began with our youngest learners, the Pre-Nursery and Nursery groups, who indulged in pictorial reading of books, exploring the beautiful world of colourful pictures and imaginative storylines. 

The children were utterly captivated, their eyes wide with wonder, as they discovered the magical world of books.

In the KG and Upper Kindergarten sections, the children engaged in lively discussions about the importance of reading, participated in engaging storytelling sessions, and had a delightful time exploring their favorite books. 

The seeds of a lifelong love for reading were sown in these young minds, nurturing their curiosity and creativity.

Grade 1 to 3 students showcased their creativity and love for reading by designing vibrant bookmarks. With an array of colorful markers, stickers, and innovative ideas, they crafted bookmarks that reflected their favorite stories and characters. This activity not only refined their artistic skills but also encouraged them to develop a passion for reading and bookmarking their favorite pages. 

As the celebration continued, Grade 3 students unleashed their inner bookworms, diving into a world of words, colours and creativity. The highlight of the celebration for them was the captivating Book Cover Design activity, where young artists brought their favorite stories to life with colour markers, paints and innovative ideas. With these creative tools, they crafted captivating book covers that reflected the essence of their favorite stories. This activity not only honed their artistic abilities but also instilled in them a deeper appreciation for books and the world of reading.

The World Book Day celebration was a resounding success, enjoyed by all. It was heartening to see students revel in their love for books and reading, their faces aglow with excitement and enthusiasm. “Embarking on Literary Journeys: Celebrating World Book Day" 📖

On April 23rd, the brilliant and creative students of Grade III F presented a special assembly to commemorate World Book Day, highlighting the transformative power of reading.

 A captivating poem set the tone for the celebration, followed by a showcase of our library's treasured collection.

 A delightful skit brought books to life, featuring beloved characters that transported the audience to fantastical worlds.

A melodious song emphasized the importance of reading, while a vibrant dance performance drove home the message with great enthusiasm. 

The assembly concluded with a pearl of wisdom from our beloved Headmistress and Coordinator for inspiring students to cultivate a lifelong love for reading.

This special assembly was a testament to the imaginative and enthusiastic learners of Grade III F passion for reading and their commitment to exploring the world of books.

Our school came together to celebrate World Earth Day with great enthusiasm and fervor, showcasing a plethora of activities that highlighted the importance of protecting our beloved planet.

In the Pre-Primary section, our young learners crafted a vibrant and shining Earth using handprints and sponge dabbing on bright colored paper, symbolizing their love and care for the planet. Through interactive sessions, they learned valuable lessons on how to keep Mother Earth happy and delightful. They were encouraged to plant trees, flowers, and grass to maintain a lively environment, conserve water and dispose of garbage properly to promote a cleaner and healthier society.

The kindergarten children participated in a class cleanliness drive, understanding the significance of maintaining clean surroundings. They also enjoyed a fun leaf printing activity on newspaper bags, embracing eco-friendly practices. Our UKG children joined the cleanliness initiative and expressed their creativity through a beautiful painting craft, celebrating nature and sustainability.

In the Primary section, our young eco-warriors showcased their artistic skills by crafting vibrant Earth models with smiling faces, brightly colored water, and landforms. This activity not only highlighted their creativity but also emphasized the importance of taking care of our planet. The students participated in a clean-up activity, tidying up their classrooms and disposing of garbage properly, instilling in them the value of cleanliness and its impact on our lives.

As the new session commenced, St. Xavier's Sector 81 extended a warm welcome to its youngest learners, the Pre-Nursery and Nursery students.

With open arms, generous thoughts, happy smiles and joyful actions, the school created a nurturing environment that embodied the spirit of warmth and hospitality.

Upon arrival, the little ones were greeted by an array of colourful mascots, hand puppets and melodious jingles that set the tone for a day filled with delight and wonder.

A beautiful bunny craft, symbolizing joy and friendship, was presented to each child, marking the beginning of a memorable journey.

The Pet Day Celebration was a vibrant extravaganza that brought together students, parents and an array of adorable pets for a day of unbridled joy. 

As the furry and feathered friends took center stage, the atmosphere was electric, with dogs prancing down the ramp, parrots squawking with glee, and a rabbit hopping about with endearing charm.

The children, beaming with pride, regaled the audience with tales of their pets’ quirks and antics, while their parents chimed in with fond memories and anecdotes, showcasing the deep bond between child and pet. 

The event was a valuable experience for the young participants as they learned valuable lessons about animal welfare and the importance of caring for their beloved companions.

Our school celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with great fervor, paying tribute to the visionary leader, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice.

A documentary screening on his life and legacy was a highlight of the event, providing valuable insights into his struggles and achievements.

The documentary depicted Dr. Ambedkar's tireless efforts towards eradicating social inequality and promoting social justice, inspiring the students to follow in his footsteps.

Following the screening, a thought-provoking discussion was held, where students actively participated and shared their thoughts on Dr. Ambedkar's teachings and their relevance in contemporary society.

Our school filled with the spirit of Baisakhi, as students from Pre-Nursery to Grade III immersed themselves in a kaleidoscope of activities. ✨
