The little Xaverians of Nursery-C filled the air with excitement, laughter, and Halloween magic through their delightful class assembly!
Set against the backdrop of a spooky Halloween evening, the little performers brought their characters to life as they playfully tried to scare one another, only to discover that sharing happiness, spreading smiles, and celebrating together made the occasion even more special!
Dressed as adorable pumpkins, witches, ghosts, skeletons, cats, and other fascinating Halloween characters, our tiny tots captivated the students with melodious songs, energetic dance performances, expressive dialogues, and charming presentations.
The assembly beautifully celebrated the spirit of friendship, joy, creativity, and togetherness, creating moments to cherish and memories to treasure.
Through their delightful performances, our young learners reminded everyone that the real magic lies in spreading happiness, sharing laughter, and making every moment special!

SPOOKY FUN & LITTLE STARS: A HALLOWEEN TO REMEMBER!

The spirit of Halloween came alive as our young Xaverians celebrated the festival with boundless excitement, creativity and festive cheer!
Our little learners from the Pre-Primary Wing celebrated Halloween through an exciting Character Walk and Talk Competition. Dressed as adorable ghosts, friendly witches, cheerful pumpkins, black cats and superheroes, the tiny tots from Nursery, KG  and UKG confidently introduced their characters through delightful dialogues, expressive gestures and charming ramp walks. Adding to the excitement, the KG children also participated in a Spooky Craft Activity, creating wonderful Halloween-themed crafts and showcasing their artistic flair. The celebration was a delightful blend of confidence, imagination and creativity!
Our Grade I and II stars embraced the Halloween spirit with a fun-filled Fancy Dress Competition. Dressed as their favourite Halloween characters, from friendly witches and cute pumpkins to spooky ghosts and superheroes, the children confidently presented lines about their characters with amusing expressions and lively enthusiasm. Their imaginative presentations and adorable performances made the celebration truly memorable.
From spooky costumes to creative crafts and confident performances, the Halloween celebrations were filled with laughter, learning and unforgettable memories. Our young Xaverians truly proved that a little imagination can make every celebration magical!

WORLD SUSTAINABILITY DAY: LITTLE PROMISES, BIG CHANGES! 

The young Xaverians celebrated World Sustainability Day with great enthusiasm through a series of creative, engaging, and meaningful activities that highlighted the importance of protecting our planet. From making green promises to transforming waste into wonderful creations, our little learners discovered how small steps can make a big difference in building a sustainable future. 
Our youngest learners from Nascent and Nursery took their first steps towards environmental awareness by exploring simple ways to care for Mother Earth. The Nursery children learnt valuable lessons about protecting our planet through a special assembly presented by Nursery-E. Through cheerful songs, lively dance performances, and meaningful messages, the little environmental ambassadors highlighted the importance of saving water, planting trees, keeping our surroundings clean, and following the 3Rs — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
The KG learners participated in engaging discussions on sustainability and explored ways to reuse everyday materials. They creatively transformed old newspapers into beautiful origami crafts, including tulips, fans, boats, and aeroplanes. The activity encouraged imagination, resourcefulness, and an appreciation for reusing materials.
With a delightful Halloween twist, our UKG innovators transformed everyday waste materials, such as paper cups and paper straws, into spooky characters. This fun-filled upcycling activity reinforced the importance of the 3Rs while nurturing creativity and environmental responsibility.
Our Grade I students celebrated the spirit of sustainability by writing their little promises to protect the Earth on leaf-shaped cut-outs. They then created a beautiful tree using recyclable and waste materials, learning that every small effort contributes towards a greener and healthier planet.
The young environmental champions of Grade II expressed their commitment to Mother Earth through a thoughtful activity. Each child received a leaf-shaped paper on which they wrote or illustrated a personal promise to protect the environment. Their heartfelt pledges reflected their understanding of simple yet impactful actions, such as saving water, planting trees, reducing waste, and keeping their surroundings clean.
Grade III extended their learning from the previous day’s Sustainability Workshop, reinforcing the importance of waste management, composting, and sustainable living through mindful, eco-friendly practices and further explanation incorporated into class lesson. 
Through these enriching experiences, our young Xaverians learnt that sustainability begins with awareness and grows through everyday actions. By nurturing eco-friendly habits from an early age, we empower our children to become responsible citizens and compassionate caretakers of our planet.

READY, SET, GROW! A CELEBRATION OF TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP & JOY! 

Our young Xaverians of Grades I, II, and III celebrated Sports Day with boundless enthusiasm, cheerful smiles, and a wonderful spirit of participation! From exciting races to calming yoga asanas, the day was a beautiful blend of energy, strength, teamwork, and serenity.
Our little Grade I champs enthusiastically participated in fun-filled races that helped them develop balance, coordination, and confidence. It was heartwarming to see them cheer for their friends, embrace every challenge, and learn the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The excitement continued with the Sports Day events for Grades II and III, where students participated in races, heats, and finals with great zeal and determination. The activities encouraged teamwork, resilience, perseverance, and healthy competition, teaching children to face challenges confidently and celebrate every effort.
The yoga session added a touch of calm and mindfulness, helping students appreciate the importance of physical fitness, focus, and inner harmony.
More than just a day of races and activities, it was a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to discover the joy of teamwork, overcome challenges, support one another, and learn valuable life lessons beyond the classroom.

Small Actions, Big Impact: Grade III Champions for a Sustainable Future! 

The young Xaverians of Grade III participated in an engaging and interactive Sustainability Workshop conducted by Dr. Nitika, focusing on waste reduction, composting, responsible waste management, and sustainable living.
Dr. Nitika introduced the concept of composting, explaining what compost is, how it is formed, and its importance in keeping the environment clean and healthy. Through attractive visuals and detailed explanations, she demonstrated how organic waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich compost for plants.
The session encouraged critical thinking through thought-provoking questions on composting and waste segregation. Students actively shared their ideas and learnt to distinguish between compostable and non-compostable waste. In an engaging hands-on activity, students were invited individually onto the stage to identify items suitable for the compost bin, helping them understand the process of waste segregation through practical experience.
The workshop also featured an exciting team-based quiz on composting and sustainability, where students enthusiastically answered questions, exchanged ideas, and collaborated with their peers. The activity added an element of fun and healthy competition while reinforcing their learning.
Through interactive discussions, visual learning, individual participation, and team challenges, the workshop inspired students to adopt eco-friendly habits, minimise waste, and make responsible everyday choices. The Pre-Primary Wing celebrated its In-House Sports Day with immense joy, excitement, and enthusiasm. Our little Xaverians from Nascent, Nursery, and KG and UKG participated wholeheartedly in fun-filled races that brought out their energy, agility, and sporting spirit.
The tiny tots of Nascent and Nursery hopped their way through the delightful Rabbit and Carrot Race, filling the atmosphere with adorable moments and cheerful smiles. Our KG learners showcased their balance, coordination, and concentration in the Balancing Race, carefully navigating their way through the course and jumping over hurdles with great enthusiasm.
These engaging activities encouraged physical fitness, confidence, perseverance, coordination, and sportsmanship among our young learners. The day was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, determination, and the joy of participation, with every little champion shining in their own special way!

The tiny tots of Nascent and Nursery celebrated Black Colour Day with great excitement and enthusiasm! Dressed in adorable black outfits, our little Xaverians explored the beauty of the colour black through a fun-filled craft activity, creating cute little black cats. The specially curated Black Colour Corner added an extra touch of charm, making the celebration even more engaging and memorable.
It was a delightful day filled with creativity, exploration, and joyful learning, where our little learners discovered the world of colours through hands-on experiences!

Disconnect to Reconnect: A Spectacular Annual Day Celebration by Grade III

An unforgettable celebration of joy, creativity, and meaningful connections unfolded at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, as the young Xaverians of Grade III presented their grand Annual Day on 16th and 17th October under the thought-provoking theme, “Disconnect to Reconnect.” The occasion was graced by distinguished Guests of Honour, Ms. Renu Singh, Principal of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 89; Dr. Kamlesh Khanna, a renowned medical professional with over five decades of experience; and Ms. Monica Ahuja, an accomplished educator, motivational speaker, and second runner-up at India Subcontinent 2024.
The celebrations commenced on an auspicious note with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge and wisdom, followed by the welcome address and felicitation of the esteemed dignitaries. The inspiring address by the respected Headmistress Ma’am set the tone for a memorable celebration. A vibrant Nukkad Natak, an energetic rap song, and captivating dance performances filled the auditorium with excitement as the young performers enthralled the audience with their infectious energy, confidence, and remarkable stage presence.
The much-awaited theatrical presentation, “Disconnect to Reconnect,” beautifully brought to life the significance of stepping away from digital distractions and rediscovering the warmth of family, the joy of togetherness, the richness of traditions, and the values that shape our lives. Through expressive acting, engaging storytelling, and powerful messages, the young Xaverians reminded everyone that while technology connects us digitally, genuine human relationships nurture our hearts and souls.
The spectacular Grand Finale brought the celebration to a vibrant close, leaving the audience mesmerised. The programme was further enriched by glimpses of the efforts behind the scenes and inspiring addresses by the esteemed Guests of Honour. The event culminated with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by our respected Coordinator Ma’am, Ms. Shivani Mehra, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the dignitaries, school leadership, teachers, parents, and everyone who contributed to the grand success of the celebration. The festivities concluded with “Meet the Stars,” refreshments, and parents’ testimonials, adding a special touch of warmth and togetherness to the occasion.
The Annual Day was a resounding success, celebrating the artistic brilliance, confidence, and teamwork of our young Xaverians. More than a spectacular showcase of talent, it served as a gentle reminder that the most precious moments of life lie beyond our screens—in the warmth of family, the beauty of traditions, and the magic of meaningful connections. World Food Day was celebrated by the Pre-Primary Wing with great enthusiasm and joy. Nascent, Nursery, KG and UKG students participated in engaging Kitchenette activities that introduced them to healthy eating habits in a fun and interactive way.
Students of Grade-I prepared fresh corn salad, learning to make nutritious food choices, value every grain, and say no to food wastage. This delightful culinary experience reinforced the importance of a hunger-free, healthier world, aligning with SDG 2 – Zero Hunger.
Through an exciting Taste Challenge, children explored different flavours by bringing food in their tiffins, tasting a variety of foods, and sharing them with their friends. The activity promoted healthy eating, sharing, and caring while sensitising young learners to the importance of food and the need to end hunger.

Dussehra: Celebrating the Triumph of Good over Evil 

In the spirit of truth, righteousness, and goodness, our young learners from Nascent to Grade III celebrated the vibrant festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm and joy. Adorned in colourful ethnic attire, the children  brought the timeless characters of the Ramayana to life through delightful enactments. The significance of Dussehra was explained to students across all grades, helping them appreciate the values of courage, honesty, and righteousness. The joyous celebration fostered a deeper understanding of the festival’s timeless message — the ultimate victory of good over evil.

The little Xaverians of Nursery-D celebrated the auspicious festival of Navratri with great joy, enthusiasm, and festive fervour. Dressed in colourful traditional attire, our young learners brought vibrancy and charm to the Special Assembly.
The celebration featured an engaging skit depicting the significance of Navratri, followed by lively dance performances and melodious musical presentations. The confident and enthusiastic participation of the children made the assembly a delightful experience.

Learning about healthy eating became an exciting adventure for our little learners of Nascent and Nursery as they visited a supermarket under the theme Food and Nutrition. The visit offered them an opportunity to explore a variety of food items and distinguish between healthy and less healthy choices.
From colourful fruits and fresh vegetables to dairy products and packaged snacks, the children discovered how different foods contribute to our growth and well-being. They also learnt the importance of enjoying foods high in sugar, salt and unhealthy fats only occasionally.
The delightful outing blended learning with exploration, inspiring our young Xaverians to fill their baskets with nutritious choices and take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle!

The students of Grade II-E presented a powerful and engaging Special Assembly on Child Rights, highlighting the four universal rights of every child—Survival, Protection, Development and Participation. Through a high-energy street play, the young Xaverians conveyed the message that every child deserves to be safe, healthy, educated, heard and respected.
Thought-provoking scenes highlighted the Right to Survival and Health, the Right to Development through education and play, and the Right to Participation. A special badge presentation ceremony for the respected Coordinator Ma’am symbolised the students’ commitment to upholding every child’s rights. The assembly concluded with a powerful pledge, reinforcing the message: Every child matters, every voice matters, and every right matters!

Little Adventurers, Big Achievements! 

Adventure, excitement, and endless smiles filled the day as our little learners from Nascent to UKG embarked on a thrilling Day Adventure Camp! 
From swinging on the tyre swing and crawling through the Commando Net to balancing on the Burma Bridge, every activity brought a new challenge and an opportunity to shine. The children cheered enthusiastically during Tug of War and the Hippty Hop Race, making the day even more memorable.
With gentle encouragement from their teachers and instructors, little hearts conquered their hesitation, embraced new experiences, and discovered the joy of teamwork and perseverance. 
The day concluded with beaming smiles, newfound confidence, wonderful memories, and certificates celebrating every little adventurer’s participation!

Nine emotions, countless expressions, one beautiful human experience!
The young Xaverians of Class II-H presented a captivating class assembly on “Navras – The Nine Emotions,” celebrating the beautiful spectrum of human feelings through a harmonious blend of yoga, meditation, mime, poetry, storytelling and dance.
From the serenity of Shant Ras to the wonder of Adbhut Ras, the children brought all nine emotions—Shant, Shringar, Hasya, Karuna, Raudra, Veer, Bhayanak, Bibhatsa and Adbhut—to life with remarkable confidence, creativity and expressive brilliance.
A standout moment was the powerful musical presentation of Bhayanak Ras, enhanced by a special song composed by our Music Sir exclusively for the children and the theme, adding a distinctive touch to the performance.
The assembly beautifully highlighted that every emotion holds meaning and plays an important role in shaping our experiences, relationships and understanding of the world.
 With their enthusiasm and impressive stage presence, our young Xaverians made this celebration of emotions truly engaging and memorable!

Creativity in Every Stroke!

With colours as their companions and imagination as their guide, our young artists from Grades I to III participated enthusiastically in the Rotary Drawing & Colouring Competition, organised by the Rotary Club at St. Xavier’s High School Sector-81. The event offered a delightful canvas for our budding artists to weave their thoughts, values and dreams into vibrant masterpieces.

🌿 Grade I students brought their imagination to life through the theme “Our Clean and Green World,” spreading the message of cleanliness and care for Mother Earth through their colourful creations.

🪔 Grade II students beautifully depicted the “Spirit of Good Over Evil,” illustrating the timeless triumph of goodness and virtue through their artistic expressions.

🌈 Grade III students explored the theme “Healthy Living, Happy Living,” creatively portraying the importance of healthy habits and a joyful lifestyle.

Each stroke reflected a spark of imagination, every colour told a story, and every creation was a little masterpiece in its own right. The competition celebrated not just artistic talent, but also the wonderful ideas and meaningful messages shining through the children’s artwork.

Healthy Mind, Happy Heart | World Mental Health Day 

“It’s okay to not be okay.” 

Our young learners of Grade II-D presented a thoughtful and heartwarming special assembly on World Mental Health Day, centred around understanding and expressing our Big Feelings. Through simple messages and engaging activities, the students beautifully reminded everyone that caring for our mind is just as important as caring for our body.
They shared four simple ways to nurture mental well-being:
 Talk – Share your feelings with a trusted adult.
 Breathe – Use 5-finger breathing to calm yourself.
 Move & Play – Play, dance and rest on time.
Be Kind – Be kind to yourself and others.
The assembly concluded with a calming 5-finger breathing activity and a joyful affirmation song, “Wake Up, It’s a Brand New Day,” spreading positivity, hope and happiness throughout the school.

On Gandhi Jayanti, our little learners celebrated Gandhiji’s values of cleanliness, responsibility, kindness and mindful living through engaging activities.
 As part of the “Be the Change” initiative, our kindergarteners took part in a classroom cleanliness drive, learning that positive change begins with caring for our surroundings.
Through a creative Three Wise Monkeys colouring activity, they explored Gandhiji’s message of thoughtful actions and positive choices.
These simple experiences encouraged our young learners to understand that small, responsible actions today can create a better tomorrow.
Inspired by Gandhiji’s values, our young learners of UKG enthusiastically participated in a Classroom Cleanliness Activity, developing a sense of responsibility, teamwork and respect for their surroundings. A  simple step towards a cleaner, healthier and more disciplined life.
Grade I celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive, learning the importance of hygiene, responsibility and keeping their surroundings clean—values inspired by Gandhiji.
Grade II marked Gandhi Jayanti by embracing Gandhiji’s spirit of selfless service through an enthusiastic classroom cleanliness drive, learning that cleanliness is a reflection of responsibility and care.
Grade III explored Gandhiji’s values through an engaging English Grammar activity, creating a “Value Sentence Garden” by framing sentences using different grammar concepts.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress Ms Ramandeep Kaur reminded the children that Gandhiji should be remembered not merely for a day, but through the values he lived by. She emphasised the power of truth, the strength of kindness, the courage of non-violence, and the importance of peace, simplicity, cleanliness and respect for others.
She encouraged the children to make a simple promise:
“I will speak the truth, I will be kind, I will respect others, and I will always try to do what is right.”

Grade 2 presented a meaningful Special Assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and his timeless values of truth, non-violence, courage, simplicity, and perseverance.
The young presenters displayed confidence, clarity, and impressive stage presence. A powerful skit brought alive significant episodes from Gandhiji’s life and India’s freedom struggle, including racial discrimination, the Non-Cooperation Movement, and the Salt Satyagraha.
The graceful dance performance added vibrancy and elegance to the celebration. The assembly beautifully blended historical awareness, patriotism, storytelling, and artistic expression, inspiring students to understand and embrace Gandhiji’s values in their everyday lives.
The presentation reflected the students’ sincere efforts, teamwork, discipline, and confidence, leaving everyone with a renewed appreciation of Gandhiji’s enduring message of peace and positive change.
