        Pre Primary - Mother's Day celebration -

Super Mom, Cool Mom, Amma, Aai,
We call her by so many names.
Whenever we are in any trouble,
        She plays her magical games.
She puts away all our fears and doubts
and caresses us gently in her arms.
Dear Mother we will always be indebted to you,
For all your love and mystical charms.

The day dedicated to one of the most important persons in our lives - Mother's Day, was celebrated with much enthusiasm and love by the Pre-Primers of St. Xavier's. The preparations were in full swing throughout the week where children sang Mother's Day songs and prepared a surprise dance for their loving moms. Mothers were welcomed with a beautiful badge made especially for them. It was a totally different day as the mothers were twinning with their kids. Children were so very excited to be in their class with their mothers sitting next to them. The day was full of exciting fun games like musical chairs, number games, paper dance, ramp walk and passing the parcel to name a few. Mothers participated with full zeal and were totally happy to win crowns, badges, sash and stars for winning the positions. Kids presented the dance number that they had prepared all through the week and did an excellent job. Pre-Nursery and Nursery kids did a card making activity with their moms as partner and presented it to their mothers as they wished them Happy Mother's Day. Kindergarteners had filled beautiful colours in a "Best Mom Ever" drawing and gifted it to their moms. Everyone had a good time while they enjoyed some refreshments being served. It was a day well spent that surely must have left some magical memories for our Dear Mothers and strengthened their loving bond with their precious little ones. Wishing everyone a very Happy Mother's Day!
