To deepen their understanding of community and the people who support it, the children of Nascent and Nursery classes explored a vibrant and engaging display on Community Helpers. The little ones observed various helpers—doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers, firefighters and chefs—each thoughtfully showcased with the tools they use.

The display offered our young learners a meaningful insight into who these helpers are and how their tools make their work possible. It sparked curiosity, encouraged careful observation, and nurtured a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the heroes who help our community function every day.

As part of the ongoing theme Community Helpers, our kindergarteners stepped into the shoes of the real heroes who make our world safe, healthy, and happy. The little ones arrived dressed as doctors, teachers, police officers, chefs, farmers, firefighters, nurses, soldiers, and many more inspiring figures—each costume bursting with creativity and excitement!

One by one, the children confidently took the spotlight, sharing thoughtful lines about the helper they portrayed. Their words reflected not just understanding but genuine admiration for the people who support our community every single day.

Nursery F Class Assembly | My Beautiful World

Nursery F brought the school amphitheatre to life with their enchanting class assembly on the theme “My Beautiful World.” Our tiny tots stepped into the shoes of nature’s most delightful creations—bumblebees, mango trees, clouds, and blooming flowers—spreading a heartfelt message of love, beauty, and gratitude for the world around us.

Their performance was a charming blend of creativity and innocence. The children sang a melodious ode to the radiant sun, followed by an energetic sequence of animal yoga, showcasing balance, joy, and imagination. The assembly concluded with a lively ‘Party Rock’ dance, filling the space with laughter, rhythm, and pure childhood magic.

Rotary Drawing Competition Felicitation Ceremony

St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, proudly hosted the felicitation ceremony for the Rotary Drawing Competition held on 13 November 2025. The event recognised and celebrated the creativity and artistic brilliance of our young Xaverians.

The school was honoured to welcome distinguished members of the Rotary Club — Rtn Dr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Rtn Ashok Malik, and Rtn Piyush Mittal, who graced the occasion to felicitate the winners.

The ceremony took place in the esteemed presence of our Headmistress, Ms Ramandeep Kaur, Coordinator, Ms Shivani Mehra, and Ms Shweta, whose continuous encouragement and guidance uplift the learning experience of our students.

The Rotary Club, globally known for its noble initiatives, has always championed education, creativity, and community service. The Drawing Competition offered young learners a meaningful platform to express their imagination and artistic potential.

To build early awareness about money and its value, the children of Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten participated in an experiential Financial Literacy Activity. A special Xavier’s Stationery Shop was set up for the children, creating a realistic shopping experience.

Each child was given different kinds of play currency notes and coins of various denominations—to buy their favourite items from the shop. They eagerly selected what they wanted, identified the denominations, counted their money, and interacted with the shopkeeper.

The activity was filled with excitement, fun, and hands-on learning. Through this simple shopping experience, the children understood the basic meaning and value of money, learnt how to make choices, recognised different currency forms, and developed early decision-making skills.

The students of Nursery B presented a delightful performance titled “Jungle Safari,” taking the audience on an imaginative journey into the heart of the jungle. Dressed as animals, trees, and explorers, the children showcased the beauty of wildlife while conveying messages of friendship and caring for nature.

Their lively dance and music performance added energy and excitement to the presentation. With cheerful movements, rhythmic steps, and expressive gestures, the young performers brought the jungle to life on stage.

The event not only highlighted the creativity and confidence of the children but also provided a meaningful learning experience about the importance of nature and teamwork. The enthusiastic performance of Nursery B was warmly appreciated by all.

Children’s Day at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 was celebrated with heartfelt joy, warmth, and gratitude in honour of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday on 14th November is a tribute to his deep love for children. This day reminds us of Nehru Ji’s belief that children are the nation’s greatest strength and the foundation of a brighter tomorrow.

Students arrived dressed in their favourite attire, filling the campus with colour, charm, and cheerful energy. The celebration began on an animated note as Peppa Pig and Spider-Man greeted the little Xaverians at the entrance and even visited classrooms, spreading delight and wonder wherever they went.

To elevate the festive spirit, a variety of fun-filled game stalls were arranged across the campus. Each corner resonated with laughter and excitement as children enthusiastically participated in activities, embraced challenges, and enjoyed moments of pure joy.

Adding grace to the occasion, Headmistress Ms. Ramandeep Kaur and Coordinator Ms. Shivani Mehra visited all the classes, interacting warmly with students and sharing the happiness of the day.
 

A heartfelt message from Director Sir added depth to the celebration. He conveyed his warm Children’s Day greetings, expressing that children are the heart of our school and the inspiration behind everything we do. To celebrate the spirit of Children’s Day, St. Xavier’s High School organized an Art Competition for Grades I to III in collaboration with the Rotary Club. The event aimed to provide young Xaverians with a creative platform to express their imagination, artistic skills, and sense of responsibility towards a progressive and united India.

The competition revolved around the inspiring theme “Celebrating the Colours of Growth and Unity.” Students participated enthusiastically, working on topics suited to their grades:

Grade III: Together for Viksit Bharat

The classrooms came alive with colours, creativity, and joyful energy as students used crayons, oil pastels, pencil colours, and sketch pens to bring their ideas to life. Their artworks beautifully reflected awareness about health, environmental care, and national progress.

The event was graced by esteemed guests from the Rotary Club, New Gurgaon Ms. Mini Agarwal, Ms. Mauli Bhatnagar, Mr. Ashok Kumar Malik, Mr. Atul Verma, Ms. Mahua Bhattacharya, and Ms. Poonam, who appreciated the efforts and creativity of the young participants.

Adding to the spirit of encouragement, members of the Student Council from Sector 89—Aradhya (XI-B), Kuuvira (XI-B), Rishit (XI-B), and Vanya (XI-B)—motivated the little artists and assisted in the smooth coordination of the event.

The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by a short introduction highlighting the significance of Children’s Day, celebrated every year on 14th November in honour of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who loved children dearly and believed they were the future of the nation.
The little ones came together to spread smiles and positivity through a musical performance that celebrated the spirit of childhood. 
Adding to the charm, the children presented a lively dance performance that showcased their enthusiasm, innocence, and boundless energy.
Through this assembly, our budding stars beautifully conveyed the message that every child is like a flower, blooming with love, dreams, and endless possibilities.

National Education Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Grades I, II and III to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Minister of Education. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of education as the foundation of progress and empowerment.

Grade I Xaverians expressed their creativity through beautiful free-hand drawings that emphasized the message that education is a right for everyone. Their artwork reflected innocence, imagination, and the belief that learning opens doors to endless opportunities.

Grade II students participated in an engaging “One New Thing Challenge,” where each child took the initiative to learn something new — a dance move, a skill, a new word or an interesting fact. This activity encouraged curiosity, self-motivation and the joy of lifelong learning.

Grade III students collaborated to design a vibrant “My School, My Learning Wall,” where they displayed thoughtful educational quotes and messages. Their contributions highlighted the role of school as a place that nurtures growth, creativity and values.

The celebration served as a reminder that education not only enlightens minds but also shapes responsible, compassionate citizens ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

The young learners of Grade II at St. Xavier’s High School brought alive the essence of the five eternal elements of nature — Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space — through their Annual Day presentation “PANCHTATVA.”

From soulful recitations and graceful dance performances to meaningful dialogues and musical renditions, every moment reflected the students’ creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Each act beautifully connected the Panchtatva theme with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — reminding us that caring for nature is caring for life itself. 🌍💧🔥🌬️✨

The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony symbolizing enlightenment and unity, followed by a warm welcome address and inspiring messages from our Headmistress Ma’am, Coordinator Ma’am, and the esteemed Guest of Honour, Dr. Kamlesh Khanna and Ms. Ishita, whose words beautifully blended science and spirituality.

The audience was captivated as our young stars portrayed each element through storytelling, music, yoga, and dance — culminating in a breathtaking grand finale celebrating balance, coexistence, and gratitude towards nature.

The auspicious occasion of Gurpurab, marking the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was celebrated with deep reverence and devotion at St. Xavier’s School. The entire campus resonated with an aura of spirituality, gratitude, and enlightenment as students participated in various meaningful activities designed to help them understand the essence of the festival.

The Pre-Primary students began the day with a vibrant Prabhat Pheri, joyfully singing hymns and spreading the message of peace and harmony across the school premises. This was followed by an interactive session where the little ones learned about the significance of Gurpurab and the timeless teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji through stories and visuals.

In the Primary Wing (Grades I–III), students engaged in thoughtful discussions about the importance of the festival and the values it upholds—truth, humility, equality, and compassion. The young learners of Grade III took their reflections a step further by penning down the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their own words, expressing how these pearls of wisdom can be imbibed in everyday life.

The celebration was a beautiful reminder of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s divine message of oneness, service, and righteousness, leaving every child inspired to walk the path of kindness and humility.

The students of Nursery C presented a wonderful and devotional assembly on the theme of Guru Nanak Jayanti, celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.
The program began with a vibrant Prabhat Pheri, where the little ones, dressed in traditional attire, walked joyfully while chanting hymns and spreading the spirit of devotion and unity.
Following this, the children beautifully recited the Mool Mantra, creating an atmosphere of peace and spirituality through their sweet voices.
The highlight of the assembly was a lovely role play, where the children explained Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s three key teachings —
Naam Japo (Remember God’s name), Kirat Karo (Work honestly), and Vand Chhako (Share with others).
Their simple yet meaningful performance reflected the true essence of Guru Nanak’s wisdom.
The assembly concluded with a soulful rendition of the “Waheguru” song, followed by the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with a sense of peace, pride, and joy.
The efforts and enthusiasm of the tiny tots made the celebration truly special and spiritually uplifting.
