World Literacy Day Assembly – A Journey with the Golden Book 
On the occasion of World Literacy Day .
 Nursery A  presented a delightful and engaging assembly that beautifully highlighted the joy of reading and the magic of stories.
The little ones took the audience on an enchanting journey with the “Golden Book”, which opened the doors to the vibrant land of Africa. Through a captivating story, the children explored the fascinating world of African wildlife, learning about animals, food, culture and traditions.
The assembly came alive with colourful performances as the children enthusiastically portrayed different animals, discovered African food and joyfully participated in traditional-inspired dance movements. Their innocent expressions and energetic performances brought the story to life and made the journey truly memorable.
The presentation beautifully conveyed that books are magical windows to the world—they help children explore new places, learn about different cultures and discover something new with every page.
The assembly was a wonderful celebration of literacy, imagination, learning and cultural appreciation, leaving everyone with a simple yet meaningful message: “Every book opens a new world.”

    St. Xavier’s School, Sector 81, celebrated Teachers’ Day with warmth, gratitude and joy. PN and Nursery students prepared heartfelt cards and special performances. KG and UKG children expressed their love through meaningful words, songs and dances. Grade I created thoughtful appreciation cards, while Grade II built a beautiful “Gratitude Wall” filled with messages of appreciation. Grade III expressed their affection creatively through songs, poems, speeches, skits, cards and artwork, making the celebration truly memorable.

      St. Xavier’s High School celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. PN children came in ethnic attire, made crafts, and listened to Shri Krishna’s story. Nursery children dressed traditionally, enjoyed a related story, and participated in an activity. KG children dressed as Radha-Krishna, decorated matkis, and listened to Krishna’s birth story. UKG children explored the festival’s significance, enjoyed Krishna’s enchanting story, and created DIY crafts. Grade I attended a special assembly. Grade II watched an animated story and discussed Krishna’s values, while Grade III watched a video on Janmashtami.

        Grade 1 E presented a beautiful Janmashtami Special Assembly celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna with joy, devotion, and enthusiasm.

        The assembly began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our respected Coordinator Ma’am and Headmistress Ma’am, seeking blessings for an auspicious celebration.

        The students then presented a soulful Krishna bhajan, creating a peaceful and devotional atmosphere. This was followed by a delightful Leela of Lord Krishna, showcasing his playful and divine childhood.

        The assembly concluded with a vibrant Krishna-themed dance, where the little ones performed with great enthusiasm and confidence, filling the atmosphere with joy and festive spirit.

        The heartfelt performances by the students of Grade 1 E made the Janmashtami celebration truly memorable.

          An enriching educational workshop was organised for the students of Grade II by Nickelodeon  Channel 

          Through thoughtfully designed interactive activities, quizzes and team-based challenges, the workshop fostered observation, concentration, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills while making learning joyful and engaging.

          The children participated with great enthusiasm and concluded the experience on a delightful note, receiving goody bags as a token of appreciation.

          A meaningful experience where learning, participation and joy came together beautifully.

            Our little learners celebrated National Nutrition Day with a wonderful “My Good Food Pledge”! 

            The children promised to eat healthy, choose nutritious food, avoid food wastage, and value every meal. Through this joyful activity, they learnt that healthy food makes us happy, strong and ready to learn! 

            Together, our Grade 1 stars took a small but meaningful step towards SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, spreading the message:
            “Eat Healthy, Waste Less, Share More!”
