Investiture Ceremony 2022-23

“Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life".
To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the ‘Student Council’ was formed after scruntinous interviewing and selection.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 was held on 29 October 2022. Our esteemed chief guest for this event was the IPS officer, Dr. Anshu Singla (DCP Headquarters, Gurugram) along with the worthy Director Sir, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva. This momentous ceremony began with the auspicious lamp lighting by the dignitaries.

A welcome dance was performed by Xaverians which held everyone captive to their performance. The glorious march past by all the council members was spectacular which set the mood for this grand event. Our choir had a melodious and inspiring song which perfectly suited the event. The proud moment of badge pining ceremony was conducted by the dignitaries and our respected Headmistress, Ms. Sarika R Chopra followed by handing over the prestigious flags to the council members.

The outgoing head boy and head girl shared their experiences and gratitude to the management, parents, and teachers in their speech with a promise to take the institution to greater heights.

In her address, the Chief Guest Dr. Anshu Singla appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these. She also congratulated the newly appointed Student Council for their preparedness to take responsibilities. She commended the school for having thought of an Innovation to provide an equal opportunity to all the students in administration and decision making. It was indeed a memorable day as parents also joined to witness this jubilant occasion which turned out to be successful with the efforts of all the stakeholders.

‘Art is as natural as sunshine and as vital as nourishment.’

St. Xavier’s High School became a partner of the ‘Kukdukoo Art Festival’ with immense enthusiasm and pleasure which was organised in Airia Mall on 2 October’22 at a grand level. Various forms of art were displayed and performed at the venue where the number of spectators was overwhelming. Xaverians set up art and craft stalls for which children arrived with their parents and engaged themselves in creating a masterpiece of their own on this fun-filled day, for which, personalised photographs were given to the participant on the spot to remember the moment forever. A wonderful sight of young munchkins, being involved in pottery was worth the hard work put in by the teachers and students. To convey the importance of integrating art as well as art forms in education, an extremely thought provoking street play was presented by Xaverians. Our respected Headmistress, Ms. Sarika R. Chopra, also joined the students to encourage them and participated in all the activities because of which students felt extremely motivated. The event had a variety of food stalls and fun activities to make the day even more special for the participants and the visitors. This special day proved that things are spectacular when we are together.
