A Virtual Orientation Programme @St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81

Orientation Day is a momentous and much awaited day in the life of students. It is a special day when students along with their parents are apprised with the ethos, vision and mission of the school. 

St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81 conducted the Virtual Orientation Programme on March 26, 2022 for the session 2022-23 acquainting the newly associated parents about the functioning, pedagogy, curriculum and various other aspects of school. The programme commenced with lamp lighting ceremony followed by seeking blessings of Almighty. Our school Principal welcomed the parents on behalf of Xavier’s fraternity and addressed them giving an insight to the holistic and integrated approach of school. The initiatives, accomplishments and achievements of our students were shared. It was discussed how collaboration between parents and school leads to the strong foundation and promising future of students. The audience was also enlightened by the Bible reading of reverend Solomon Sir.

The school presentation giving a virtual tour of school and showcasing how each day is filled with hands on learning at school was shown. We make sustained efforts each day to inculcate values, knowledge, skills and innovation by engrossing students in an array of activities providing them abundant growth opportunities.

With immense pride, students from our pre-primary, primary and senior wings elucidated various anecdotes and remarkable experiences at school facilitating their learning journey. The dance and musical performances made the programme lively and entertaining. Our school Headmistress shared her pearls of wisdom and talked about nurturing talent and fostering love for learning. She also extended her warm wishes for the bright future of students at Xavier’s. The programme culminated with school song which filled the heart of Xaverians with reverence. The session was indeed insightful and enriching. It was highly acclaimed by parents.

Fun Fiesta , Pre Primary Wing - 
The last three days of the academic session were full of enthusiasm and joy. Fun Fiesta awaited the Pre-Primers, who were so happy to come to the school and spend time with their friends and teachers. The first day had some exciting, fun-filled marathons for children. There were different types of races scheduled for the kids, which they thorughly enjoyed. They were so happy to receive badges and medals made especially for them. The second day was booked for movie time. Kids were all ready with their favourite snacks and popcorn as they watched movies like "Frozen, Peppa Pig, and Tom & Jerry." The last day was very special for everyone as the vibrant spirit of Holi was everywhere to be seen. Kids had a lot of fun playing flower Holi with their friends and teachers. They did some hand printing activity on their old T-shirts and were so happy to wear them back home. It was a day well spent and surely left everyone with colourful memories to cherish for life.

Adios! Sayonara! Bye Bye! 
Our classrooms were buzzing with all these words on the last day of our session. But nothing can compare the joy we feel about the exciting and adventurous journey our little Xaverians are going to embark upon for the next academic session. 

The fabulous day was celebrated with fun-filled games, grooving to music that shouted aloud the happiness within and cherishing all the wonderful memories created with friends and teachers. Good luck for a new beginning to our SUPERHEROES and SHEROES!!

Day 2

The day was full of fun and entertainment for our Xaverians. They enjoyed grooving and moving on the peppy numbers. There were many exciting games which enthralled them. It was a truly a well spent day with friends and teachers.

Fun Fiesta GRADE II@St. Xavier's High School, Sector 81

'Time to bid adieu to each other and create magical memories.'

Day 1 of our Fun Fiesta started with the perfect aquatic theme. Our adorable little Xaverians enjoyed ramp walk, grooving to aquatic songs. They were also donned in costumes of underwater creatures and shared amazing facts about them. It was a treat to watch their grinning faces. The day ended  with loads of fun and laughter.

Day 1

Hurray! It's the time to have fun and enjoy.

To celebrate the learning of little Xaverians and to applaud them for their tremendous efforts, St. Xavier’s High School organised a three days fun-fest filled with themed party, games, movie time and entertainment for students of Grade 1 before the session break.

The main attraction of the event was the Superheroes and sheroes themed party. Children enjoyed  dressing up as their favourite superheroes. They were thrilled to meet their friends and teachers after a long time.

A proud moment, a memorable day, an amazing event that celebrated the Kindergarteners as they took another big step into their academic journey - Xavier's Panache - The Graduation Day! 

The event took place on 10th and 11th March and both the days were filled with a lot of excitement, energy, good vibes, vibrancy, hustle and bustle. Everyone felt so welcomed and the kids could not hold back their joy as they were getting ready to perform their special dance on the stage. The kids and parents also shared their experiences about their fun and lively virtual academic journey. It was an emotional and memorable moment for many as the kids smartly donned their graduation capes and hats and walked confidently to receive their Graduation Certificates and Titles. The traditional throwing up of hats was the highlight of the day that was equally enjoyed by everyone. 

Our respected Principal Sir, Headmistress Ma'am and Coordinator Ma'am graced the occasion and shared their wonderful words of wisdom and congratulated everyone. It was a proud day not only for the kids and their parents, but also for their teachers and the school. The big smiles on everyone's face truly justified the fact that we should take pride in how far we have come, we should have faith in how far we can go, but we should never forget to enjoy the beautiful journey. Congratulations to everyone!

Mankind must remember that peace is not God's gift to his creatures. Peace is our gift to each other. When we as a mankind fail to think in the right direction, it leads to war and the tragedy of a war is that it uses man's best to do man's worst. The Pre-Primers were also made aware of the ongoing conflict happening between Russia and Ukraine and the suffering and destruction it is causing. They also took out a rally in the school premises to stand against voilence and to promote peace and harmony in the world. They urged Russia to stop the war against Ukraine and to save humankind. Holding banners and placards in their hands with messages to stop the war, kids peacefully protested against the wrong ways of Russia. War is the last thing any one of us would want to take place. Kids also took a stand and made their point clear to let peace prevail and to put an end to the ongoing conflict. Let us all be together and pray for peace and sanity. Let's save our Mother Earth and spread love because "peace is the only battle worth waging."

The Peaceful Revolution to Denounce War @St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81

To stand against violence and promote harmony in the world, a rally was held by Xaverians in school premises on March 02, 2022. They  shouldered the responsibility to promote global peace.

They put forth the thought provoking fact that ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine will lead only to destruction and violence. It will eventually impact all the nations and turn into global scourge. They appealed that  Russia should stop the war against Ukraine to save humankind. They also enunciated to embrace humanness to save mother Earth during the peaceful protest by holding placards and banners with messages to stop the war.
