Vasant Panchami celebrated on the fifth day of the lunar month of ‘Magha’ heralds the spring season. The colour yellow is associated with Vasant representing energy and yellow fields. It marks the end of winter and the beginning of the spring in most parts of India and neighbouring countries.

On this auspicious occasion, the students of Grade 3 A and C from St Xavier’s High School organized a special assembly on Vasant Panchami. The assembly began with a lamp light lighting ceremony along with the aarti to worship Goddess Saraswati to remove ignorance and attain knowledge. It was then followed by a skit in which children adorned themselves in beautiful attires of Maa Saraswati, Maa Durga, Lord Vishnu , and Lord Brahma depicting the importance of the festival. Sanskrit shlokas with their meanings added to the learning. A soulful song on Basant Panchami was sung by one and all and the audience were enthralled listening to it. It was then followed by a mesmerizing dance performance on Maa Saraswati Sharde. The effort of the students and teachers were much appreciated by HM ma’am and the assembly was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.

On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was organised in St. Xavier's High School which was witnessed by students, parents and teachers. It was a proud moment for one and all as we paid tribute to our martyrs to guide us to peace and prosperity, so that we can hold our heads high and be proud of our country. A thousand salutes to this great nation of ours.

We feel ecstatic to share that our two students are amongst Top 20 International Rank Holders. of International Math Olympiad (IMO).

We feel elated to share that Prisha Maheshwari of Grade IX has bagged the Gold Award in the 17th Future Star Artist National Online Art Competition organised by Manikarnika Art Gallery. 

It’s a matter of immense pride for us that Xaverians are not only proving their mettle in academics but they are going beyond it.

No words of appreciation are enough for the magnificent efforts and accomplishment of Aharshi Sarkar, Grade I for securing the first rank and 100 percent marks in the International Math Olympiad. We feel immensely proud to have him as a part of the Xavier’s fraternity. Looking forward to such endless glorious recognitions.

We are elated to share that Aharshi Sarkar of Grade I has secured the International Rank 1 with 100 Percent Marks in the SOF National Science Olympiad. 

This adds a real feather in our cap to have another shining star in Aaruhi Raghuwanshi who has secured the International Rank 1 with 100 Percent Marks in the SOF International English Olympiad. 

It’s indeed a matter of immense pride for Xaverians.
