“Like so many things, it is not what’s outside, but what is inside that counts”
The students of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, presented a theatrical drama- A timeless saga “Aladdin and the Magic Lamp” on February 23rd and 24th. The world of children is full of fantasies and innocence. Taking the audience into their world, little Xaverians of Grade 1 & 2 gave the audience a feel of Arabia. The event began with lighting of the auspicious lamp followed by a sprightly music score that livened up the story. A dazzling display of dance and dialogue transported the spectators to the magical land aided with the magnificent sequence of audio visual delight. The rich and dazzling display of innovation, creativity, colour, vibrant costumes, dance, music and light, left the audience spellbound and won much deserved ovation and appreciation of one and all.
The Head Mistress, Ms. Sarika R Chopra addressed the gathering and welcomed them wholeheartedly and expressed her joy at being among such energetic team of students and facilitators. She concluded the presentation with her encouraging words by applauding the children for their wonderful performance.
Our Coordinator Ms. Shivani Mehra extended Vote of thanks to the audience for sparing their precious time and praised the consistent effort put together by the staff, teachers, students and dear parents to make the day a memorable one.
