“Like so many things, it is not what’s outside, but what is inside that counts”

The students of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, presented a theatrical drama- A timeless saga “Aladdin and the Magic Lamp” on February 23rd and 24th. The world of children is full of fantasies and innocence. Taking the audience into their world, little Xaverians of Grade 1 & 2 gave the audience a feel of Arabia. The event began with lighting of the auspicious lamp followed by a sprightly music score that livened up the story. A dazzling display of dance and dialogue transported the spectators to the magical land aided with the magnificent sequence of audio visual delight. The rich and dazzling display of innovation, creativity, colour, vibrant costumes, dance, music and light, left the audience spellbound and won much deserved ovation and appreciation of one and all.

The Head Mistress, Ms. Sarika R Chopra addressed the gathering and welcomed them wholeheartedly and expressed her joy at being among such energetic team of students and facilitators. She concluded the presentation with her encouraging words by applauding the children for their wonderful performance.

Our Coordinator Ms. Shivani Mehra extended Vote of thanks to the audience for sparing their precious time and praised the consistent effort put together by the staff, teachers, students and dear parents to make the day a memorable one.

The much-awaited Annual Sports Meet for the session 2022-23 was held on 8 February'23. It was the perfect day for Xaverians to prove that not only in academics but also in Sports, they are stupendous and dazzle like gems. 

The marvellous event was comprised of an array of sports activities-Races, Long Jump, Skating and much more. All the participants reached the sports ground with great zeal and gusto. The event commenced with the lighting of the flame and releasing of balloons. This was entailed by hoisting of school flag and the declaration of the Meet Open by our esteemed Headmistress ma'am. There was immense fervour and excitement amidst thrills, shrills and cheers around.

The hardwork of the participants was paid off when they showcased their remarkable performances leaving an indelible mark on everyone. The audience was awe struck in rejoice and hailed the participants with thunderous applause. The day culminated with the felicitation of the winners with medals and certificates which was indeed a proud and enthralling moment for all. Our Headmistress ma'am lauded the winners for their accomplishments and encouraged everyone present to follow the realm of health and fitness through Sports. The day was filled with fun, frolic and and memories to be etched forever. Kudos to our champions who left no stone unturned with their teachers to make this event a humongous success!!
