The school campus resonated with joy and vibrant energy as students from Nascent to Grade III came together to celebrate Baisakhi and honour the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Our little learners from Nursery and Nascent enjoyed an engaging story on Baisakhi, decorated colourful kites, danced with enthusiasm, and looked radiant in yellow attire. KG students added to the festive spirit through Bhangra, colouring activities, and creative DIY crafts.

The blooming stars of UKG paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar through an informative video, learning about his invaluable contributions, followed by festive craft activities that enhanced their creativity.

Grade I students created beautiful kites symbolising new beginnings and explored the inspiring life of Dr. Ambedkar. Grade II students showcased their creativity by composing poems on Baisakhi and took the Equality Pledge after watching a documentary on Dr. Ambedkar. Grade III students also participated in meaningful notebook activities and gained insights through an educational video.

The celebrations beautifully blended festivity with learning, instilling cultural pride, creativity, and values of equality and respect in our young learners. 🌟

The settling period allows children to ease into the school routine with relaxed timelines and a comfortable environment, helping them get acquainted with their new surroundings.
At St. Xavier's High School, we follow the same approach to ensure that our little learners settle in happily and enjoy their early days at school.
To begin with, children participated in fun-filled activities such as Move and Freeze Dance, where they grooved to the tunes of their favourite songs. They enjoyed Rhyme Time with their facilitators and took part in a delightful Greeting Activity to build comfort and familiarity. They also engaged in Body Percussion, adding rhythm and excitement to their day.
It was heartwarming to witness the first handprints of our little ones come alive in a beautiful Wreath of Safety, Security and Love. The children also enjoyed colouring a Bunny Worksheet, which was later displayed and appreciated by the facilitators.
To add more joy to their day, a Mix and Sorting Activity was conducted to encourage confidence-building and enhance the children’s self-esteem.
All these thoughtfully planned activities proved to be a wonderful way to help our young learners settle in with ease. We believe in making every day a joyful and enriching experience for our little stars.
Overall, the first week at school was filled with beautiful memories that will remain in their basket of life forever.

Our young learners from KG to Grade III celebrated World Health Day with great enthusiasm, embracing the essence of holistic well-being through joyful and engaging activities. From calming meditation sessions to energetic Zumba routines, children explored the importance of keeping both body and mind healthy.

Experiential learning took center stage as students monitored their heartbeats, participated in fun relay races promoting hydration, and engaged in lively games to sort healthy and unhealthy habits. Grade I students shared nutritious food from home, reinforcing the value of healthy eating, while an interactive quiz added excitement to their learning.

Creativity blended with awareness as Grade III students crafted their very own “Hygiene Helper Kits,” encouraging daily hygiene practices. Meanwhile, Grade II learners expressed their understanding through action-packed games filled with laughter and learning.

Amidst our busy routines, this day served as a meaningful pause to instill lifelong habits of health, hygiene and mindfulness. Truly, every little step taken today paves the way for a healthier tomorrow! 🌟
