Republic Day Celebration at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector-81
Our Republic Day is a day to promise our motherland that we will do everything to enrich and preserve our heritage and ethos. Also, to celebrate the spirit of India, feeling of joy and pride!!
St. Xavier’s High School celebrated Republic Day with patriotic zeal and fervour on January 25th, 2021 to commemorate our commitment to the constitution and celebrate the rights of democracy. The special live assembly was graced by our chief guest, an eminent personality Retired Brigadier Mr Parveen Kumar Goyal. The programme commenced with welcoming and honouring of guests and badge pinning ceremonies. The National tri-colour flag was unfurled followed by national anthem filling each heart with respect and pride. Our special guest addressed Xavierians and urged them to feel proud to be Indians, do their best and love their nation.
On this auspicious day, Xavierians also imparted the knowledge about Constitution of India-the Supreme law through an informative skit. They apprised everyone about the framing and adoption of Constitution of India. The patriotic song by school choir group and national song glorified our country and kindled the patriotic spirit. The zealous and energetic dance performances by our students were applauded by all. The highlight of the programme was the debate where Xavierians reflected and voiced their opinion about the significance of Republic Day. On this occasion, our esteemed Headmistress, Ms Sarika Rahul Chopra with the oath encouraged the students to fulfil their responsibilities, duties to serve our nation and take India to great heights.
