World NO Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on May31. Tobacco use is one of the most important preventable causes of premature deaths in the world. Xavierians of grade III and IV expressed their views and thoughts to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco.

Also, the health risks associated with tobacco use through their Power Point presentations. They enthralled everyone with the use of their creativity and technical skills.

    Art-Wings to Creativity
      “Creativity is just connecting the thoughts and spreading awareness.”
                             
    Book Mark and Mask Making Competition: To instil the ideas of following environment friendly practices and sustain natural resources for current and future generations, the competition was organised for grade I and II students with the theme ‘Go Green’. This fun-filled activity unleashed the creativity of students on paper with a message to learn and follow. They enthusiastically experimented with different shades of colours to flaunt their artistic imagination and learnt the valuable lesson to save the beauty of Mother Earth.

    ‘‘Poetry is simply the most beautiful, impressive, and widely effective mode of saying things.”
    Hope can foster determination and grit-the ability to bounce back and to remain determined despite failures and setbacks. During the challenging time of COVID 19, our grade III Xavierians expressed their positive thoughts and raised hope in all through their wonderful poetry recitation. The young poets enthralled everyone with their articulation, confidence and presentation.
                                  Gratitude message to Unsung warriors
    Corona Warriors are working tirelessly to ensure everyone’s safety during the pandemic. Students of grade IV extended sincere gratitude and appreciation towards thousands of Corona Warriors; across the country-doctors, nurses, policemen personnel-who have been at the forefront of the country’s battle against the corona virus pandemic. It was a gratifying moment to see young Xavierians thanking unsung warriors of our country.
    Be Eloquent
    There are tremendous advantages of being a good speaker. Being an effective public speaker empowers an individual to express himself confidently. Students of V-IX got an exceptional platform to be eloquent on the effects of COVID 19 situation on our lifestyle and economy in the TED x Event. The brilliant and thought-provoking ideas put forth by students invoked everybody to think about one’s actions and lifestyle.
