Go Green: An initiative of going green with Grade 1- A.

Our enthusiastic Grade 1-A students raised awareness towards sustainable practices and eco-friendly ways of living.

Children learnt and took an oath to
1. To take care of their environment
2. ⁠To conserve resources around them
3. ⁠Adopt a lifestyle based around the 3 R’s- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
4. ⁠Minimize wastage and unnecessary consumption.
All the children of grade 1 A participated enthusiastically and confidently. From the guiding words of wisdom to the educative skit, song and dance performances, the assembly was a perfect blend of an inspiring message and creating awareness towards the conservation of our resources.

The assembly kicked off with a beautiful pledge on “ Going green- focussing on adopting a lifestyle based around the 3 R’s - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. ♻️

The highlight of the assembly was its educative skit- Go Green with the 3Rs. Children spoke confidently and emphatically and motivated everyone to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle ♻️.
Our mesmerising singers as well as dancers enthralled everyone with their superb performances.

World Gratitude Day Celebration

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more."

Students of St. Xavier's High School celebrated World Gratitude Day with enthusiasm and joy. Each class participated in unique activities to understand and express gratitude.

The Pre-Nursery children engaged in a group activity where they learnt about being thankful through fun and interactive play. Nursery students entertained everyone with a charming puppet show, teaching the importance of saying “thank you” in everyday life. Kindergarten students created a beautiful Gratitude Tree, where they expressed their appreciation by adding leaves with messages of thankfulness.

The UKG class took part in a "Thankful Handprint" activity, making colourful handprints and writing what they were grateful for inside them. Grade 1 students wrote gratitude words on leaves, adding them to a display to share their feelings. Finally, the Grade 2 students enjoyed a Gratitude Scavenger Hunt, where they discovered things they were grateful for in their surroundings.

The day was a wonderful reminder of how expressing gratitude can bring joy and happiness to everyone.

Germination Activity - Kindergarten

Observing seeds grow is a rewarding educational activity for young children. As part of their curriculum, Kindergarten students engaged in a seed germination activity. Under the guidance of their teacher the children planted seeds and were excited to see them sprout into small plants. They learned that seeds need water, air, sunlight, and nutrients to grow. The children happily took their little plants home to continue caring for them, gaining a basic understanding of germination and plant care.

✨ Magical Moments: A Journey of Kindness and Joy with Grade 1-I! ✨

Our enthusiastic Grade 1-I students filled the air with wonder during their special assembly, Magical Moments! From the heartfelt words of wisdom to the enchanting skit and dance performances, the event was a perfect blend of entertainment and inspiration.

The assembly kicked off with a beautiful thought: “Sometimes the most magical moments in life are created not by wands or spells, but by simple acts of kindness and love.” Our young performers truly embraced this theme, reminding us all of the power of kindness.

The highlight of the day was the captivating skit, The Magical Hat, where the children portrayed how acts of kindness can bring forth true magic in life. Their innocent joy and lively performance captured everyone’s hearts, teaching that kindness is the real magic we all hold.

Our little dancers then took the stage, mesmerizing us with a rhythmic performance that left the audience in awe. 

We were honored by the presence of our HM Ma'am and Coordinator Maam who shared inspiring words with the students, encouraging them to continue spreading kindness and positivity.

A big round of applause to our talented kids for spreading so much joy and to the teachers for making this magical day possible. A magical day indeed !🌟

Special Assembly - Nursery E 

A healthy mind lives in a Healthy Body
The assembly aimed to promote Mental peace, physical activities and healthy living among young students through various engaging activities.
The assembly began with a serene and calming demonstration of yoga asanas. Our young students performed a series of poses that emphasized flexibility, strength, and mental focus. 
Following the yoga session, a group of students sang a lively song about the benefits of staying active and healthy. The catchy tune and cheerful lyrics brought smiles to everyone's face and highlighted the joy of maintaining a fit lifestyle.

The assembly continued with an entertaining and educational skit performed by our budding actors. The skit highlighted the significance of exercise, good nutrition, and a positive attitude. 
An energetic zumba performance, showcasing the students' rhythm and coordination.
So Mindful moments helps us nourish our body by stretching, strengthening,toning by paying attention and bringing awareness to how our body feels.

The Annual Concert of the Kindergarten section of St. Xavier's High School, titled "Symphony of Palette," was a vibrant celebration of colours and creativity. The event began with a warm welcome to the audience and distinguished guests, Ms. Ritu Mehta -Director Principal of St. Xavier's High School Sec 49, Ms. Renu Singh - Principal of St. Xavier's High School Sec 89, Ms. Simi Srivastava - Founder of Kathashala and Mr. Varun Mata, Head - Business and Operations, Trinity College London, North India followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.

The children brought the theme to life through captivating performances, with each colour representing a unique emotion. White was symbolized by a serene yoga performance, Pink by a joyful dance, Red by love, Blue by the expansive sky, Orange by patriotism, and Green by nature.

A behind-the-scenes video showcased the dedication of the students and teachers, followed by an inspiring speech from the Headmistress and a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Coordinator ma'am.

The event concluded with a grand finale dance by all the students, leaving the audience enthralled, and ended with the National Anthem, bringing the celebration to a patriotic close.

Nursery -D 

Hindi kewal bhasha hi nahi , Hindustan ka garv bhi hai. 
Jan Jan ki bhasha hai Hindi 
Bharat ki asha hai Hindi 
Hindustan ki garv gatha hai Hindi 

The assembly started with the Prayer, followed by the skit , showing the importance of our national language Hindi in which children enacted the role of different languages in their attire of different states along with the dialogue delivery of the respective States .
At the end the dance performance by the children enhanced the beauty of the assembly. Children were looking wonderful in the attire of different states and their headgear. 
The encouraging words by our respected Headmistress ma'am motivated the team. 
'Hindi Diwas ki hardik shubhkamnaye '.

Special Assembly Nursery-F

"Fruits are nature's candy! They're not only delicious but also bursting with nutrients. From the tropical taste of pineapples to the tangy zest of lemons, each fruit has its unique flavour and benefits. Berries are packed with antioxidants, citrus fruits boost our immunity, and apples support healthy digestion. Fruits are also versatile - we can enjoy them as snacks, in salads, smoothies, or even as desserts! So, let's explore the wonderful world of fruits and make healthy choices for a happy life!"
The assembly started by stating , the benefits of fruits children spoke about different qualities and flavours fruits offer us , and how they play an important role in a child's growth . Children were dressed up in different fruit costume they also took the stage on fire by tapping their feet on fruit song, They also sang a melodious song.
The assembly passed on a beautiful message stating Eat Healthy,  Stay Healthy. 
The assembly ended with the encouraging words of our dear headmistress ma'am which always motivate us to reach new heights.

Today, we celebrated Onam with our students by showing a delightful video and making a paper boats. The children learned about the vibrant traditions of Onam, including the grand feast called Onam Sadya, the beautiful floral decorations known as Pookalam, and the exciting boat races. The video highlighted the story of King Mahabali and the joy of welcoming him back to Kerala. It was a wonderful opportunity for the kids to understand the cultural significance of Onam and embrace the festive spirit.

हिंदी दिवस हर वर्ष 14 सितंबर को पूरे भारत में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन हिंदी भाषा के महत्व और उसकी समृद्धि को सम्मानित करने के लिए समर्पित है। 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने हिंदी को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में मान्यता दी थी। इसी कारण इस दिन को हिंदी दिवस के रूप में मनाने का निर्णय लिया गया।
आज हिंदी दिवस पर छात्रों ने हिंदी से संबंधित गतिविधि की और जाना कि हिंदी का हमारे जीवन में कितना महत्व है l
उन्हें इस बात से अवगत करवाया गया कि हमारी मातृभाषा हिंदी है , जो हमें एक विशेष पहचान देती है l

"Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories, and love."

St. Xavier's High School celebrated Grandparents' Day with heartfelt joy and warmth! The event began with a beautiful lamp lighting and tilak ceremony, honouring the presence of our beloved grandparents. The students expressed their love and gratitude by presenting their grandparents with a special token of appreciation, symbolizing the deep bond shared across generations. The day was filled with fun and laughter as grandparents participated in a lively game, creating cherished memories with their grandchildren. A day to remember, filled with love, laughter and blessings!

A  thought-provoking Parents Talk was conducted at St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 81, by Ms. Jeevika Tulsiya on the inspiring topic “I am a Changemaker.” The session included engaging stories and discussions centered around positive values such as optimism, sharing, caring, and celebrating one another. Ms. Tulsiya encouraged students to reflect on how they can bring meaningful change to society by embodying these values. The talk left a lasting impact on  children, inspiring them to take small but significant steps toward creating a more compassionate and inclusive world.

Special Assembly by Nursery-C

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the tiny tots of  Nursery-C put on a delightful performance to mark the festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha. With innocent smiles and vibrant energy, the little ones captivated the audience as they paid tribute to the beloved deity of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune.

Dressed in colorful traditional attire, the children showcased their creativity through a beautiful dance performance.Their charming movements, synchronized to the music, evoked the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi and filled the air with positivity and excitement.

The highlight of the performance was a playful enactment of the story of Lord Ganesha's Wit & Wisdom. Through simple yet heartwarming gestures, the young performers brought the legend to life, spreading a message of love and faith.

 The nursery students' performance was a perfect blend of devotion, tradition, and fun, making this Ganesh Chaturthi celebration a truly memorable one.

 
At Xavier's, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with a series of engaging activities that spanned across different classes. The Pre-Nursery children crafted eco-friendly Ganesha cards, blending creativity with sustainability. Nursery students enhanced the festive spirit by coloring and decorating Rangoli patterns. KG students engaged in Ganesha coloring and dal pasting activities, while UKG children molded colorful play dough into Ganesha idols and enjoyed related stories and songs. In Grade 1, students recited poems and shlokas dedicated to Lord Ganesha, embracing the devotional aspect of the festival. Grade 2 students watched a video on the festival's significance, made clay Ganesha idols, and participated in bhajan singing and dancing. Finally, Grade 3 students learned about the festival’s importance from their teacher and celebrated through music and bhajans. Overall, the diverse range of activities provided students with a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience, celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a rich and educational manner.

Special Assembly Nur B – Teachers: Eternal Nurturers

A Good Teacher is like a Candle , It consumes itself to light the way for others. 
Teachers Day is a special occasion to celebrate and honor the invaluable contributions of the educators in shaping the minds of little ones. Nursery B expressed their gratitude towards the Eternal Nurturers by presenting  a special assembly dedicated to their mentors.
The assembly started with the auspicious Guru mantra , which was recited by the children to acknowledge the perseverance of their gurus  which followed by a role play of their beloved teachers. 
The children enacted like our dear HM Ma’am, co-ordinator ma’am , music teacher and dance teacher to name a few , it was indeed amazing to see their expressions and recitations as they role played them exactly the way they are in school . The children also took the stage on fire by their foot tapping dance .
The sound of the melodious song , echoed in the environment thanking our lovely facilitators who help us day in and day out to make our life happy , jovial and mesmerizing . 
The children culminated the whole assembly by their smart moves and confident approach towards learning and enriching their lives with good thoughts and humble actions.
The encouraging words by our dear headmistress ma’am illuminated the space and left sparkles of wisdom in everyone’s minds.
As one has rightly said “ teachers are the real superheroes , shaping the future one student at a time !!
Let’s pay our gratitude to our teachers who paves the way , for a brighter tomorrow .

Special Assembly - Nur A GRATITUDE GATHERING

Today's assembly titled gratitude gathering
unfolded the script of Ben and his breakfast basket which spoke about the farm animals and the products that they give us to make our mornings healthy and nutritious. We had golden omelettes, yummy milkshake, hot carrot soup and grilled butter bread for breakfast, Ben the owner of Benny farm showed his gratitude towards his farm animals by inviting them for a yummilicious breakfast in return to the things gifted by them to him.
The farm animals too thanked Ben for his thoughtful approach.
All together they thanked the good lord for blessing us with such beautiful treasures of life.
Going by this thought our dear headmistress ma'am , coordinator ma'am and all others present brimmed with gratitude and love for nature's secret treasures .
The assembly ended with the encouraging words of our dear headmistress ma'am which always encourage us to rise higher and higher in life .

We are thrilled to congratulate Saurvik Khanna for his outstanding achievement in Gymnastics at the national level. His dedication, hard work, and exceptional performance have brought immense pride to our school. Saurvik’s success is a testament to his perseverance and commitment to excellence. He truly exemplifies the spirit of determination and is a shining example for all our students. We are proud to have him as a part of our school community, and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.
