“Talent wins games, but team work and
intelligence wins championships.”
Sports day is about having fun, being physically
active, learning the basics of sports and building co-ordination and motor
skills, so to give the little angels an opportunity to display their
self-confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship. St. Xavier’s, Sector 81,
family joined together to commence this day on February 15, 2019 with epitome
of energy, style and colour.
The day commenced with spectacular, impressive and
well synchronized march past, followed by fun races for Pre Nursery and Nursery
students. It was a delight to see the excitement with which the students
challenged themselves to attempt a variety of races like Parrot and Chillies Race,

vigour and the school ground rimmed with sound of cheers and applause.
An energising and equestrian drill by Xavierians of
Grades KG and I-IV mesmerized the audience. The splendid drills sprayed on the

praised the efforts profusely.
